I think it is cute and obviously something you have always wanted. I named my son after finding the name in a baby name book under "hippy names" lol It was the only name that both my hubby and I LOVED, it just happened to be the name of a show and main character who was a girl! But as it turned up the name was actually a male name. My family didn't like it at first but grew to like it, I also had to do alot of explaining to people that the tv show was NOT the reason I gave him this name... I also had to explain that it was a male name not female. So just be prepared for those kinds of remarks and questions! But by all means name your child what you want to, I love names that are not the norm!

I am going to tell you what my dad always told me. He said be very careful and selective when giving your children names. The reason is that it may sound very cute and different to you but do you think your child is going to like and appreciate having the name you chose? You may like it and think it's cute and all but bottom line is they are the ones who are going to have to live with it their whole life. Yes they can always change it later on when they become an adult but then they will feel guilty for changing the name their parents gave them. Take care

I personally dont care for that name but its not my baby either. Do what you think is right. But everyone will assume you named your baby after apple.

Honestly? lol Its not bad, but there is already a FAMOUS Apple, so I think she will always get the "like Gwenyth Paltrow's baby" remarks.... What about Annalise or Amelia?

um i dont agree with naming children after fruit.......give her a name she will not hate or have to explain the rest of her life.....also i dont like Marie because its my MIL so personal reasons there......yikes.

Appleann also sounds like a brand of apple sauce

Not my style....sorry.

Appleann is a little odd, and Marie is way too overused for a middle name.

I think that its a really nice and unusual name and when she is older she will probably make all her friends jealous with her funky name.
