I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and me and the father of the baby are not together. We are trying to settle things outside of court and I was just wondering if anyone knew an average of what he would have to pay a week in child support after the baby is born. I think he makes around $10 -12 p/h, works about 40 hrs a week and the only bill he really has to pay is cell phone bill.

Ever said that to yourself about your baby?
Well I am putting together a booklet for a friend of mine that is expecting her first child. I am looking for helpful hints from people that they wish they had gotten before their child arrived.
The kind of hints that I am looking for are:
Change the baby before you feed her,
and funny ones like
No matter how smart your husband thinks he is he will not be able to use a car seat.

Yes I know I already asked this question, but I only got 4 responses so I thought I would ask it again.

Hi everyone,
I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my second child and am already dreading the birth.
I know people say that you forget afterwards but I think I've been mentally scarred for life.
During my first pregnancy I loved it all - i wasn't in the slightest worried about the birth and nobody told me really how bad it would be (well they would have had to be a bit cruel to tell me whilst pregnant).
I was induced at 41 weeks in the hospital, all night long had bad contractions, in the morning I went into labour which lasted for what seemed forever, i wanted to kill my husband!
Then at about midday panick struck and I was wheeled into the emergency room for a cesarean as the fetal heart beat was in distress.
In the end I had a normal vagina delivery with forcepts and vacuum - I was cut open and sown together again - it was aweful!
okay I had a healthy baby girl etc......... but my vagina was in agony for days, I could hardly sit down with the stitches!

Please tell me its easier now!

One of my good friends is pregnant and plans to name her little girl Anicca. To look at it, you'd pronounce it Ann-ick-uh, right? The thing is, she wants to pronounce it An-neech-uh...something to do with double cc's being pronounced "ch" in Italian? Nothing I can do to change her mind, but I feel sorry for her little girl because people are going to mis-pronounce her name her whole life!

I am 11 weeks pregnant, so we don't know the sex of the baby yet. We have agreed on a girls name: Lily Michelle (Michelle is after my sis). Opinions?

But we just can't agree on a baby boy name. We're looking for something different, but not too weird. The middle name is going to be William (after my dad). Any suggestions?

Why is the stepmom (or the woman becoming the stepmom) usually evil or bad in movies? Hellraiser, Cinderella, Snow White, Dead Silence (sorry if I ruined that for ya), Sleepy Hollow, Ever After, The Parent Trap, Nanny McPhee, and Ella Enchanted to name a few. Why oh why does Hollywood feel the need to do this? Especially in kids movies?????

my husband and i have 16 kids (8 [ 5 his , 3 adopted] from his side, 5 [ 3 mine, 2 adopted ]from my side, and 3 [1 ours, 1 adopted, 1 foster care] from after we married), and also my niece and nephew are living with us for a while. they range in ages from 10 mo. - 19. We were recently at the childrens shelter to see about adopting our 16 year old foster son, when we met a child (with a past I'll fail to mention) there named Brittany. She was 13 and i just wanted to wrap her in my arms and tell her that nobody would ever hurt her again. i know it's not possible to take in every orphaned or hurting child in the world, despite the fact that if i could i would, but should we consider taking her in. Money and room is not an option. we have plenty of both to care for our kids. but i don't know how the others would respond. my husband feels the same way i do, but is still a little unsure. opinions, thoughts?

Please help me out by letting me know what you wish people had told you. It can be serious or funny. She has no clue what to expect so any hints are helpful.

Here's the deal. I started my period Monday morning and it ended on Thursday. This is the shortest I have ever had my period. Plus for the 4 days, I have barely even bled. I have had a light, reddish brown flow. No clotting or heavy bleeding which is characteristic of my period. I could possibly have become pregnant about 3 weeks ago and have been having some symptoms of pregnancy. Morning sickness, headaches, naseau, sore breasts, and increased appetite. I have also found that there has been a slight hardening in my lower abdomen (uterus) and also when I tried to insert tampons for my "period" my vagina is tightening. VERY DETAILED.. but I would really like some answers. Thanks a bunch.
