The Chinese gender prediction calendar and all other of the old wives tales said girl. My 19 week ultrasound said boy. I wasn't totally convinced by what I saw on the ultrasound so I guess now it's wait and see.

I heard that if you're having a girl you gain all the weight in the belly area. If you're having a boy you gain all over. I dont know if thats an old wives tale but it turned out to be true for me, my neighbor, and 2 of my friends! The only way to be sure is have the ultasound person tell you or wait until the babys born.

It's very reliable! You can rely on it to be 50% accurate, just as any other old-wives tale methods of prediction.

It is, however, a fun distraction from the aches, pains, nausea, and stress.

I don't know what it is but would like to find out. I think its fun to do those things and see if they're right. I'm 18 weeks and am soooo anxious to find out what I am having!
