My opinion is, the parents are encouraging the children to be a B*I*T*C*H, as today's modeling is no more a modeling but, just a business of showing bodies, specialy the private expouser. These modelings have no meaning. There are many varioud fields open for the children go for it. To some extent I feel modeling needs a ban. Parents think before you take any decisions as it can spoil the life of your baby.

i don't agree with it but my friend has a baby that models clothes for next she was in tesco one day and some one from an agency was shopping and spotted my friends baby and asked her if her child was interested in mode ling clothes my friend said no but then changed her mind when she realised that any money made could be put in trust for her when shes older my friend went ahead and her baby who is now one is a baby model but my friend dictates the hours and puts her baby first no more than two modelling shoots a month and if my friends baby does not want to do it because shes crying my friend pulls her out and waits until next time

I don't think a person who is too young to have an opinion should be doing paid work! They have no control over their own bladders, let alone what the adults who are supposed to be nuturing their young lives are doing with them. I'm sure no baby comes out of the womb and says, "Oh yes, put me under hot lights and put makeup on my newborn skin--I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille!"

Everyone thinks their baby is the most beautiful baby in the world and wants to show them off to the world. I think this is the reason why most people do it.
I expect that, like adult modelling, supply exceeds demand!

As the mother of 3 beautiful children. Not bragging, it didn't come from me! I get that question a lot. If they are babies and they're not bothered by it, why not? I think young children should be able to decide if it is something they want to do. Also, since a lot of the sessions for ads and commercials are held during the day you want to be sure it doesn't interfere with schooling. And make sure they are working for a well known company since there are a lot of sickos out there!

i dont agree with it, all babies are beautiful, some are cuter then others yes,but if everyone tried to get there baby into modeling it would be an uproar for some who dont make it as they think theres is better then this one etc
babies should be allowed to be babies then young children and grow up
if they want to try modeling when older then fair enough its their choice, they should NOT be forced into it

I think children and modeling is always a bad idea. It tells them they are only worth as good as the looks, smarts and personality don't mean anything. As far as the previous answer, it ALWAYS gets out of control.

I have the cutest baby on the planet so of course I looked into it. Most casting directors only hire twins because of scheduling and child labor laws.
So unless you have the cutest twins on the planet, or unless you live in New York City or are willing to fly to New York City every month to audition your baby, you are probably better off getting them into dance or piano lessons.

It's fun and profitable if you find the right agency. We found Kids Talent Network - they're honest and have made our son some money. They work with kids all over the country and only work with kids, which I like.
