BH contractions can be calmed by drinking lots of water and staying off your feet, so you may want to try that. It's quite normal to have BH at 30 weeks.
You said you've been having them for 12 hours, but how many are you having per hour? Are they spaced at regular intervals? Are they getting closer together? If you're having more than 4-6 per hour, they are regular, and getting closer together then you should give your OBGYN a call, no need to rush right out to the ER.

I am 30 weeks too and I get the same thing but only a couple times a day. My doc said they are nothing to worrying about unless I get more than 4 in an hour. I would call your OB to be safe, someone there will quickly answer this question.

If they are getting closer together and or more intense you should go to the hospital. You may want to give your doc. a call and see what they think. 12 hrs. is a long time to have braxton hicks.

Definitely call your doctor. It's normal to have some BH but it sounds like you're having a lot. My doctor said to call if I had more than four in an hour.

time how for apart they are. If they are coming in regular intervals, go to the doc. If they aren't coming at steady intervals and the intensity is changing back and forth, they are probably b h. You can always call your ObGyn if your not sure.

hi-the only cramps I got with my baby were period like cramps--nothing at all like what they are 'supposed' to be before labor.
the day I went into labor, the period cramps started at 7 am- I had my doc appt. that day also and when I got there I was 6cm and he sent me straight to the hospital.
how far apart are they?

have you called your doctor or the labor hall at your hospital? they would be the best places to look for an acurate answer to your question. i had alot of b h during my first pregnancy. my son was two weeks late and when the contractions started i still thought it was just b h.

GO TO THE DR. You did not say if you are having any discharge but go get checked. It isnt a common thing to be having those symptoms now.

You should call your doctor... incase its preterm labor. They will tell you what to do instead of us. You know your body the best. if you think somethings wrong call the doctor.
Best of luck!
