27 weeks is 6 months preggo. (Start of your 3rd trimester). Pregnancy is 40 weeks long, and is divided into 9 months, but not all are 4 weeks, more like 5. I know it's confusing... And your baby weighing 1kg (or 2.2 lbs) is exactly what my book says he/she should weigh, so congrats! Your baby sounds healthy, and you are moving right along!

A complete pregnancy is 36 wks. So you are almost done with your 7th month. 28 wks. is a full 7 months. There are 4 wks. in a month. Check with the website www.webmd.com to answer your questions about the size of the baby being normal. Congratulations on your new addition!!!
