The other day I meet a couple who had just had their first baby a few weeks ago. They are in there mid 50's. How can this be right? I, as a mom, can understand wanting to have that feeling of becoming a parent. Of giving life to another being. Its incredible...BUT, is it fair to the child that his mom and dad could possibly miss out on beautiful moments...such as the daughter getting married and having her baby. The son getting married. Seeing them graduate college...whatever the moment is. These parents are going to cheat their kids out of som much. Yeah, yeah, yeah the parents while they are alive it will be great and they'll be loved very much I'm sure. But isn't it a little selfish? The child will grow up knowing that their parents could be dead before their life actually really truly begins (as an adult).

We have one daughter, and when I was pregnant with her, the doc calculated my date of conception. It was my birthday! A pretty memorable day, of course. My husband and I had gotten a hotel room, and after -ahem- sex, I rememberd thinking "gosh, I wonder if I got pregnant just then" and I had this nagging feeling that I had. Then just the other night, I got that same feeling. I got online later, and used a fertility calendar, and realized that it was most likely a fertile day for me. Crazy. So, its too soon to know if I am really pregnant. The chances are slim cuz I have a Mirena IUD, but who knows? Did any of you ever get that feeling?

With my first child I just HAD to scrub the kitchen floors and apply 2 coats of wax, wash every blind, window and curtain and scrubbed every inch of the house. Now, I am 38 weeks preggo and I am feeling VERY tired all of a sudden. Do some women just want to sleep before the birth or is this just my body getting rested before the nesting hits. What was your experience with the nesting instinct?

We have adopted a child since birth and we love her dearly. She's now one year old and we're worried when the time comes when we have to tell her the truth without hurting her feelings. If you're also an adopted child, how did it feel when you learned the truth?

Mom's bday is coming up, and though we are very close, our tastes are extremely different. She is so hard to shop for! In the past, i've just asked her what she wanted, and bought it for her. But this year, I would like to surprise her with something. What are some ideas for creative gifts, that moms love to get?

My husband wants another baby in like 3 or 4 years. In three or four years I wanted to go back to school and get a degree, or just work part time, until the kids are out of school. I pull my own weight with the kids, but I'm 20 and I have only had a job working for an automotive business. That's it. I'd like to move into a bigger house later on, and I would work to pay for the mortgage. Another baby would set off the plan. What should I do, He makes good money, but I want to move into a bigger house, and this is our first one. We need the space with two growing children and growing amounts of toys. We can build this house to make it bigger, but I rather move into a wide open neighborhood with a built in park in it. I'm not being selfish, I just want my family to have love and grow in a great enviroment like both of our parents made sure we did. What should I do?

This is not a joke, I would like mature people to please respond, I am a married person with a child and another on the way, my husband and I are active sexually, and now and then we engage in anal sex. Recently I have been enjoying it more but I am scared for my baby. I am 4 months pregnant. I tried getting information from the web and can't seem to find anything that relates both subjects.

My children are ages 2 & 4. I just read about the pedophile who was caught by police while doing something live on video to a child. From what I understand, one just never knows what people are really like, even family members. Is there anything I can be on the lookout for? Any characteristics of an abuser that might jump out?

There are boys that will be invited (cousins, close friends), so an all girl party is out of the question. All the little girls will be wearing tutus and have wands. I can't think of any costumes or prizes for the boys (that fits in with the ballerina theme) so they won't feel left out. I don't want to spend a fortune. Just something nice and cheap! :) Any ideas for the boys?

Well, I am friendly to her and cordial in a neighborly way. A couple times she has asked me for a ride to the store because her car broke down - so I give her a ride. Well, 3 weeks ago, she knocked on my door and told me her water bill got shut off and asked me if I could give her the garden hose through her back bathroom window to flush toilet and her water needs until a few days - she's getting a check to pay her bill. Well, here it had been 1 month - So I got pissed off and went over and pulled the hose out of the window and shut the valve off. Next thing, her brother knocks on my door and says I'm in deep trouble with the law, because I can't deny her babies necessary water and said I'm going to be arrested for child abuse / child neglect. WTF? Please Advise?

My hubby brought home a whole bunch of dairy (milk, different cheeses) which to my dismay (we really can't afford to spend money on groceries that we're not going to eat) I can't really look at!

He won't bother eating them because he's just got strange eating habits anyways, even though it would make me feel better to know they weren't going to waste.

Any ideas for how I can use up all this dairy before it goes bad? Should I cook with it and then freeze meals? Or what?

Any suggestions of inexpensive foods I might be able to keep down?
