There are boys that will be invited (cousins, close friends), so an all girl party is out of the question. All the little girls will be wearing tutus and have wands. I can't think of any costumes or prizes for the boys (that fits in with the ballerina theme) so they won't feel left out. I don't want to spend a fortune. Just something nice and cheap! :) Any ideas for the boys?

you can get them some king crowns.. i think that would be cute, and a plastic sword or something, and a sash... or else yo ucan do like a nutcracker theme and the girls can be the ballerinas, and the boys can be the soldiers or the mice.. Lol. hope that helps a lil bit.

I agree with Dr Philis and to add to what she has said you might want to adjust the theme to be a particular type of ballet like some of the others have suggested. This way the boys have a choice of what their characters would be:
Nutcracker - soldiers
Sleeping Beauty - the Prince or Dwarfs
Peter Pan - Lost boys

You've picked possibly the most girly theme there is. There just isn't anything that will fit in with that theme that a little boy will have anything to do with.
Can you adjust the theme a little to be fairies and wizards? Everyone could have wands, and the boys could get cool wizard hats while the girls wear wings.

Cute idea! I am a dancer myself, and many of the male parts are "prince"-like characters. eg; the nutcracker prince, the prince in sleeping beauty, etc....
