My hubby brought home a whole bunch of dairy (milk, different cheeses) which to my dismay (we really can't afford to spend money on groceries that we're not going to eat) I can't really look at!

He won't bother eating them because he's just got strange eating habits anyways, even though it would make me feel better to know they weren't going to waste.

Any ideas for how I can use up all this dairy before it goes bad? Should I cook with it and then freeze meals? Or what?

Any suggestions of inexpensive foods I might be able to keep down?

TO EASE THE NAUSEA, SUCK ON PEPPERMINTS. ALSO, LEMONS/LEMON WATER HELPS TOO :) GOOD LUCK WITH THE FOOD PART...SOMETIMES, YOU JUST HAVE TO LET IT PASS...

First:
For nausia - try eating a few saltine crackers (soda crackers) before you even get out of bed in the morning. Also, candied ginger or ginger ale and mint (tea or candy) are great for the tummy. Another thing that helps is to eat something little every hour or two. Keeping something in the tummy cuts down on extra acid as well as nausia.
For the dairy - yes you need calcium but if your not going to eat or drink it its a waste of money. Tums is great for the calcium and it does no harm to your baby. Cheese and such you can eat when you can stomach it.

I know it sucks but for the health of your baby you have to eat some of the foods you don't like. Try to find interesting ways to sneak them in.

Best of luck!

When I had morning sickness (which was actually ALL DAY sickness), the only thing I could even look at to eat for a few weeks was a nice turkey (deli meat) sandwich. I added lettuce, cheese, tomato, mayo. It's something that's not too heavy, but won't leave you hungry either. That way you could use up some of your cheese. Also, a large glass of cold, cold milk was refreshing to me. I know everyone has their own likes and dislikes ESPECIALLY while prego! One thing that helped tremendously with my sickness was chewing mint gum. Something about it really soothed my stomach. Anyway, good luck with the eating (I eventually found myself eating whatever wouldn't be too bad coming back up - frozen waffles w/ syrup). Congratulations on the baby!

If you're having trouble with nausea, snack on unsalted crackers to keep your stomach settled. Munch on a few right after you wake up in the morning.
Check what kind of cheese it is first, pregnant women should not consume unpasteurized cheeses like Brie, Feta, or Camembert because of possible bacteria contamination. You can cook and freeze dishes that have cheese in them, notably lasagna. Cheese itself, especially in blocks or rounds, can be frozen separately if it's well wrapped.

When I get 'morning' sickness. (Which has lasted day and night for a few weeks at a time) I generally eat whatever sounds good. Campbells Chicken Noodle soup did it for me this week. About a week ago it was Jack in the box tacoo. About a month ago it was cheeto's and ding dongs (now they make me sick)

Pastas are good to eat well in that quesy stage plus they are really inexpensive.

I am not to sure but I believe you can freeze cheese, so maybe pack it up and stor it till cheese sounds good again.
