Not in my case, with my 2nd child I did show faster, but he was a BIG baby (10lb 5 oz and 23 inches at birth) but with my last child I didn't start to really show until I was well into my 6th month....I think it depends on the position of the baby in utero and how fast the baby is growing.

Yes- it is true. Your uterus "recognizes" that a pregnancy has already occurred, resulting in the body entering into the pregnancy state much sooner. I have 3 kids and with each pregnancy, I started showing earlier than the last.

I didn't start showing with my 2nd child until I was around 7 months, With this (my 3rd pregnancy) I started showing around 4 months!!!

For many yes, expecially if they are not physically fit and are back in pre pregnancy shape. I however did not show any earlier.
