I remember our mom used to use them on us, but that was a long time ago. Do they still make them, and do many moms still use them? Are they even really helpful anyway?

I have gained about 10 pounds within the last 2 weeks and my belly gets bigger and bigger everytime i turn around and it just pokes out and if you've already taken a home pregnanvy test a it shows up negative is there a chance it could have been positive... i'm really worried that i'm pregnant and i don't know what to do so this question is for women that have already had kids and know how to answer my question... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!! i'm scared to go to the doctor because i'm only 16 and it's so hard for me to actually think that i'm pregnant and if there is any one out there that can help me with my problem i would really like that........ thank you so much......

Just ended 5 yr abusive relationship. I have 2 kids, under stress of finding a new job and a new place to live. Haven't had a period since the 1st of August- took an EPT test got one dark line and one extremely faint dashed line? Am I pregnant or just really stressed and getting ready to start my cycle. I often miss a cycle during stressful situtations in the past.

We have been to gether for a year now and a baby is due in December. It was love at first sight for both of us. We are both 100% ready to get married and we want a family for our baby... but he keeps bringing up marrage but isn't doing anything about it. What should I do? Or do I just wait? my daughter went to her fathers in august for 2 weeks and her father and his wife deceided to call me and tell things that my husband supposly touched my lil girl in a bad way. i had her examined and i called child services and the police department her and all to find out that her father made it all up. and it was all a lie. should i allow my daughter to go back to her fathers after this?
My husband doesnt want her too he is afraid of this happening again and this time him goin to jail for somehting he didnt do. but it is a court order that she goes to her fathers on school vaction and 2 weeks out of the month during summer vacation. I feel bad becuz shewantto see her dad but the lies that where told in the past can put anyone in jail for a long time just based on lies. she is only 5 and she knows more now that what she should now at all. all becuz of this happening and her talking to all these specailist. all becuz of her father wanting full custody of her what should i do????

Will you raise them to be strong independent women? To not rely on anyone to take care of them and to always stand up for themselves? Or are you teaching them to bow down to their men (subconciously) and always need someone at their side to feel complete?

I only ask this because I worry about my own children. My mother didn't raise me to be that way but here I am, bowing down to a man and my daughter sees me bust my as* waiting on him hand and foot because this is what he expects me to do and she wants to "help" me out. I want her to know she is an individual and at no time in her life should she ever feel as if she needs a man to make her complete nor should she have to sacrifice everything to take care of one.....

I am pro-life. I believe that there are other options, such as adoption. If you don't want the baby, don't kill it. It is not the babies fault. I don't think it is right to have an abortion UNLESS there are circumstances that make it almost impossible not to abort the baby (such as the baby being born with disease or getting pregnant by being raped- but even if i was raped, i wouldn't abort the baby)
I have had 2 unplanned pregnancies (both by the same man) and i never even considered abortion or adoption. I understand some peoples families would kill them or put them out if they were pregnant, but there is help available out there. If i were in a situation like that and my family disowned me, that would prove to me right there that I don't need my family. I feel like family is supposed to be suppotive of you and stand behind you. I don't think it is right to talk people into abortion. I can't understand how people can abort their own child. i could never forgive myself if i did that

Me and my wife only have one child. A son and he is 5 years old. We both are 27 years old. We don't know for sure if we want more kids or not, it is like we can't make our minds up. Mainly because my wife had such a hard pregnancy with our son. What is your all's take on this? Is one enough and will our son miss out on having a brother or sister?

I am pregnant with my first baby, I am due in 2 weeks. I plan on breastfeeding my baby but once I am done I wanted to get a boob job. Nothing to make them bigger because they are big enough, just to make them stay perky and not sag after having a baby. I do want to have another baby in about 2 years or so, If possible..lol that is how my husband and I want to space it out. I plan on breastfeeding that baby as well. My question is, can you breastfeed after having a breast lift? I havent looked into it yet because I have a while but I was wondering if anyone knows or possibly done it before and to see if it works out or not. Thanks for your help!

Hello.........I am looking for anyone who has insight on what I am dealing with....

My daughter had a wonderful pediatrician but the ped. had to leave and start her own pratice (we miss her!!) Anyways, they sent a new doctor to replace her. My daughter who is 15 months old had to get her last set of shots by the new guy. As he was doing her well-baby check up he said something about the folds of her "little girl parts" (inner vaginal folds) not separating corrrectly on their own. It was very hard to understand him, being that he was of a foreign accent. I asked why this would happen to her and all he said was "Just because,... I will give you a prescription for it." I was confused but went along with it anyway. Also this Dr. was very rough, all through the examination my daughter was crying when he looked at her vagina and he didn't care!! He even teased her when he was done, she wanted her little puppy toy and he kept on holding it out of her reach. She just kept on crying, of which she rarely does because she is such a happy baby. I was unnerved and shocked and had to hold back my own tears because I didn't know what to say.
As we went to pick up the prescription, the pharmacy was confused as to why the doctor would prescribe this medicine for my daughter, initially they thought the cream was for me!! Because, come to find out, the prescription was for a medicine called "Premarin". I know that this medicine is an estrogen enhancer and is usually given to women going through menopause!! Not to mention , it cost $75.00 for a tube of it. Of which I couldn't afford!! The dr. only wanted me to use it on my daughter 3x a week for 2 weeks (that's only 6 times!!) and the tube was bigger than the average toothpaste tube!!

So, does anybody know what is going on? I am being bias because it's my first child? Can anyone help me out? Please email me, my email is drgnfly@avci.net

Oh, by the way, my daughter has been examined multiple times by her previous pediatrician for her regular check-ups.....and they never mentioned anything like this before.

Why are there people who ask us if they are pregnant? Are we doctors? And most of the time 90% of the advice is just to go take a test. I'm pregnant with my third child, I have never had the need to seek out advice on line to know whether or not I was pregnant. I went to the store and got a test or I went to the doctor. I'm not trying to be rude to people but is there anyone else besides me who is tired of seeing that question day after day by different people?

He wants children... but I don't. I've tried talking to him about it and he just says we'll talk about that more later. Am I the only one who thinks that is something we need to talk about NOW?

We are both 25, married for 3 years, and we have a great relationship... but this is a problem for me right now. I just don't see how he'll be happy with me if we don't have children and he wants them. I've had a miscarriage before and I just don't want to go through that again (one reason why I don't want to have kids) and with the number of starving and homeless people on this earth I just don't see how it's fair to bring another person into this world. (my viewpoint... and I don't think bad of ANYONE who wants/has kids because of that viewpoint!) Another big reason is because we have two different religions and I just don't see how we can raise children believing two different things.

What do you think?
