Me and my wife had our first baby almost two years ago. At first the baby slept in a small basinet next to my wife's bed, this was more convenient for middle of the night nursings. At three months we tried to move the baby to a crib but she did not accept it and we ended up having the baby share the master bed with us.

We now decided to move the baby (toddler really now) to her own bed and own room, my wife will also wean the baby in the next few weeks.

If anyone went through this before I'd appreciate sharing your experiences. What difficulties might we face? any tricks to make it easy for the baby and the mother?

Thanks.

Haha I'm not old enough to have kids but I'm just asking this out of curiosity.
My mom is a fraternal twin. She didn't have twin kids of her own, but I'm wondering what are the chances for me, her daughter, having twins?

going home. They have been together for approx the past three years in foster care...and it's time for one of them to go home. The judge will make the ruling in the a.m. Right now, they don't see much of each other due to the fact that one has been on overnight visits more and more. Just one of the phases of reunificaiton fostering.

Any suggestions would be great...both kids are 4 years old...and they really don't understand why their life is like it is...they think "visiting mommy" twice a week is normal and that every child lives like this.

We still get to have contact with him, as his bio mommy and I have developed a relationship...she has agreed to let me have him spend the night, come over for play dates etc...which we think is great.

I was just wondering how other people felt on this one. Is it a make or break point? Do you honestly think the absense of sex would really become that great of an issue?

This is totally hypethetical but I'm going to ask it anyway:

It's between your child and 10,000 orphans.

You have to choose between saving your child or all 10,000 orphans.

Whoever you choose not to save will be killed.

If you choose to save you're child, then the orphans will all be put to death.

However, if you choose to save the 10,000 orphans not only will their lives be saved but each and every one of them will be promised a family and will be adopted the next day.

So, who would you save?

Hi,I am looking for some opinions of parents with kids that have PDDs.Based on personal experience what do you find are the best activities and/or toys for an autistic child aged 2 1/2 years old?
He is already in early intervention services and I know that every child is different but I am not looking for professional opinions, just a few things parents have done with their children that they have found to be successful for them. Thanks in advance!

A few days after my bf and I had sex I had a little bit of cramping that I have never experienced before. I am on the pill and was at the end of my second week of pills. I went to the doctor's the other day to get my yearly pap done and when I was done and on my way home again I had cramps, which i haven't experience after a pap before. I am not sure what to make of the whole situation

I have a newborn baby, do office work from home (24/7 job) while husband does outside work (limousine company). I can't seem to organize my time properly. I have no time to keep up with the phone calls and office work, clean the house, make dinner, take care of the baby, get enough sleep or take good care of myself (healthwise or appearance). I don't even think about going out anywhere, or i'll just mess up my scheduling even worse than it already is! I try to do the paperwork at night but this just causes me to not be able to wake up in the mornings to take care of the baby. please help me organize my time better!

I was reading an interesting Letter to the Editor in my local paper the other day. The writer suggested that all teachers should have locked guns in the class rooms, in case there is ever a school shooter. What do you think? I think maybe only the principle should have a locked gun in his office or maybe all schools should have one armed security guard on the grounds 24/7 in case events like this happen. Any ideas/comments?

I think abortion is wrong. Why would you take such a precious life away from such an innocent being? There are so many families out there who can't have children and would die to. Why can't you just give birth and put the baby up or adoption?!

Has anyone had/have bad or crazy dreams while pregnant? Right now I am 2 and half months pregnant and I am having bad dreams or crazy dreams every night! I wake up scared! Before I got pregnant I NEVER had dreams. I was told that back in the 80's they had a pill that cured morning sickness, which caused bad dreams in women, but they discontinued it because they found out it was making babies comes out disbaled. Has anyone else experienced these bad dreams?
