I was just wondering how other people felt on this one. Is it a make or break point? Do you honestly think the absense of sex would really become that great of an issue?

Why would you report me? It's a legitimate question. I'm not being a pervert about it. I'm asking about something that effect everyone who is married. Why is sex considered so dirty?

I once heard that if sex is good in a relationship its only 1% of it. If its bad its 99% of it. So I do think its a big deal.

It's very important! The absence of sex in a relationship, unless for medical reasons, is the sign of a problem. What kind of problem is the question. Do one or both of you not enjoy the sex? Then find out how to improve it - communicate about what you like and do not like. Are you not attracted to each other for some reason? Physically? Or sometimes when you're not attracted to someone it's because you are unhappy about something unrelated to sex. I suggest you talk about it and get help if need be (counseling). Not having sex is asking for problems.

Look at it this way. If you're not having sex with him/her then someone else eventually will. Fix it before that happens. And this isn't just about men needing sex. Both partners should want and enjoy it.

In real life, things that are important should be determined by an individual themselves. Our society “values” change with different cultures, traditions and certain norms set. We start behaving sometime unconsciously to those norms. Sex primary aim by nature is to continue the species. So sex is important for breading. And the urge to bread is in our complex nature. Sometimes our intellect questions such urge. The act is pleasurable as nature must have thought making it otherwise the species may not continue. If you understand this and do not want to bread or sex is not pleasurable for reasons best known to you, you can make a choice not to have sex.

I am going to say that it is pretty important mainly because having sex gives you this bond with the other person that just cant be explained, especially between two people who are in love (as you should be if you are married)

I am not saying that if after i was married, and i found out my husband was horrible at sex, that it would ruin our relationship and we would eventually divorce, lol.

I am saying that the sexual bond and intimacy is very important in a relationship and it should no way be taboo and should be discussed between partners.

Absolutely. This is a make or break point. Sex is one of the 3 major issues in marriage. Followed by money and in-laws.

It's very important...to most anyway. It's just human instinct and it's needed on both a physical and emotional level for most.
Of course it would be a make or break issue. Unless agreed fully upon by both partners...the absence of it would break a marriage...and fast.

The absence of meaningful sex is one of the reasons why most couples separate. Sex is the physical expression on love (especially for men). In it's absence there is a sense that love has lost its passion and without passion the relationship dies. Nothing else can substitute for sex.

not a big issue ~ when you first meet you want to make sure that it is good, however, if the fire loses some of it's flame that doesn't mean the love is lost. People grow comfortable together and it isn't always important and maybe just a big hug or some cuddling.

I would say unless it was for some previously known religious preference, then yes it would be an issue. Depends on the mates views as well though. Hopefully there would be talk about this before the wedding lol.
