Unprotected sex = pregnancy no matter where or how it goes down. TLC's show Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew has an episode discussing these myths. Water, hot tubs, douching, etc. will not prevent pregnancy. These tales are just that, made up tales. unless you are ready to become a parent, use birth control & pratice safe sex because that is the ONLY way to prevent a pregnancy, and even at that it is not 100% guarenteed. As great as that WOULD be, they still survive and she can still get pregnant, remember that water can also interfere with condoms sometimes (especially chemically treated water) So make sure you have TWO forms of Birth Control!

HAVING SEX IN WATER IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL!!!! all it takes is for ONE of your sperm to swim up in there to get her pregnant. don't be stupid, use protection.

Dude, your body is 98% water. Water has very little effect on sperm.
Chlorine, like is found in swimming pools would kill the buggers. However, they are being deposited inside her, not inside the water.

no, you are wrong. she can get pregnant. the sperm isn't "touching" the water but the interior "place" of the girl. she can get pregnant.
