I am pregnant with my first baby, I am due in 2 weeks. I plan on breastfeeding my baby but once I am done I wanted to get a boob job. Nothing to make them bigger because they are big enough, just to make them stay perky and not sag after having a baby. I do want to have another baby in about 2 years or so, If possible..lol that is how my husband and I want to space it out. I plan on breastfeeding that baby as well. My question is, can you breastfeed after having a breast lift? I havent looked into it yet because I have a while but I was wondering if anyone knows or possibly done it before and to see if it works out or not. Thanks for your help!

Just stay natural and enjoy what you have been given. It can cause all sorts of problems, and you shouldn't put yourself at any risk when you are a mother. If your husband has a problem with that, you need to deal with him on another level.

There might be complications, but even if you can breastfeed, it's a wise choice to wait until after you're done having children. The effects of nursing and pregnancy on you're breast shouldn't be that bad. Not only that, but why get the surgery done after the first baby? After you have such a surgery the skin is not as elastic because it's already been somewhat overstretched, and if you have it done then have another child, it will stretch even more, and stretch marks will look even worse. I suggest waiting until you are done having children, the surgeon will probably tell you that too. If you don't the surgery will be a waste.

I wouldn't start thinking about this until after you start breastfeeding. Some women do it up to two years (which will be when you are going to have your next child) and if you are wanting a child exactly two years afterward you would only have about fifteen months (from the time you delivered your first child) to have your second. That really isn't that big of an age gap so I'd just wait it out and wear a wonder bra until you can get the surgery. Best of Luck!

Yes, you can breastfeed after having breast surgery.....BUT.....you may have trouble breastfeeding and you may not be able to establish a full supply of breastmilk after surgery. AND....if you have another baby after the surgery, they're probably going to change during the pregnancy again. Why not just wait to pay for the boob job AFTER you are done having babies and breastfeeding?

My best friend not only had a lift but a boob job because she said her boobs looked like deflated balloons after breastfeeding her first child. She had her second child 2 years ago and breast fed her too it does not interfer at all with breastfeeding. But remember not all babies take to the breast or like breast milk and if thats the case its not your fault

There's a book called "The New Mother's Guide to Breastfeeding". It's amazing. It really helped me. It has information about nursing after any boob job. That should help you. Talk to your doctor and your child's pediatrician before you make a final decision.

I've heard that lots of men love their women's new breasts. Especially if they're lactating. You've done the right thing in looking into it and not making the final decision yet. Good luck with the birth and breastfeeding.

Why would you have a breast lift or "boob job" before you are done having kids? Seems like a waste of time and money.
As long as your baby is healthy who cares if your boobs sag a little?

Save yourself the money and pain and just get them done once your done having kids. All my girlfriends who got pregnant while they had implants really ruined their boobs, and they had to get lifts and implants and they still didn't look all that great. I've never known any woman who had implants that could breastfeed and I've seen alot of fake titties in my life.

If you are not having implants put in that there most likely won't be a problem. You do sometimes lose nipple sensation so I am not sure if your nipples would be harmed in any way? I have heard of women even those with implants breast feeding just fine after. Check with your surgeon.
