I am four days past my due date and getting really fed up. People keep telling me to do things such as eat a hot curry or fresh pineapple to help labour along! Also i have been told to go for long walks. Are these true and can anyone give me anymore ideas that have worked for them?

do you think my sister is pregnant ..?? her last period started on the 17th of August..and yesturday she was suppose to get it and she was complaining about her boobs being sore....when you touch the nipple part she says and everything else feels the same...see i dont know if she is or not because i never had that problem when i was and i had my daughter 3 weeks ago...and so yeahh i never felt what shes feeling so could she be pregnant or no????we really need your advice thanks!!....and if your going to be negative dont bother answering ok..

oh and she never had this problem before her period and all so what do you think??

My doctor told me in my last trimester that I could have a glass of wine for my anniversary and a glass of champagne for my mothers wedding. I am becoming a foster parent and we started to talk about FAS an dit scared me.My son is now a heathy 11 mounth old boy but could he have future problems I don't know about. I should not have listened to my doctor but I was stupid kid who thought doctors know everything. Please don't be mean I feel guilty already. I am really not a bad person or mother.

This really ticks me off! It shouldn't be legal!!! I used to live underneath a woman who smoked like a chimney and she was pregant. (She also wore 5 inch heels, carrying in groceries up and down stairs while her husband waited inside the apartment with her other kids) She would also scream obscenities to her kids, her youngest was in diapers still. I mean what mother in their right mind would be like this??

If you are pro choice because you say a person has a right to make a decision about their own body then would you also say you think drunk driving is ok? In both cases the decision affects someone else, the only difference is that with abortion you KNOW someone is going to be killed.

My daughter has to go in for a Voiding cystourethrogram because of some problems she has been having with her urinary tract. Has anyone else's child needed one? What can I prepare myself and my daughter for? Will it hurt her a lot? Please, I need some advice on how to handle this.

First off, I don't want to argue politics or religion. PLEASE! :) I'd rather address this from a moral standpoint.

If you don't believe that life begins at conception... fine. I don't want to talk about that. We won't change each other's minds anyway.

My question is this:

How can you justify aborting a pregnancy in which the fetus would be viable outside of the womb?

Many argue that women should be able to make the choice and that they shouldn't be expected to carry a baby for 9 months in order to give it up for adoption. If the baby is far enough along to live outside the womb, how can anyone justify ending that life? Do any of you believe in the pro-choice movement but not this particular case?

Just wondering...

Personally, I think people take for granted how INEFFECTIVE it is. Between myself and my closest friends, we have:

2 pill and condom babies
2 pill/condom/foam babies
5 Depo babies (twins AND triplets, same mom)
7 pill babies
1 condom/foam/diaphragm baby

Is it just me, or is the pill a JOKE?! WIth methods like the nuva ring and mirena that are waaay more effective and have less side effects, you would think the pill would be obsolete. Personally, I love my Mirena. 18 months and I am baby and symptom free.

What has your experience been?

I became a mother 13 months ago, and there are times that I can't even watch the news becuse I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I hear about the horrible things that happen in this world. I used to be able to "Handle" the horrible evil I would hear about, but ever since I had my daughter, my heart just aches for the less fortunate people in the world. I wonder if any other mothers have experienced the same kind of emotions, your thoughts are welcome!

well me and my boyfriend has been together for a year and 4 months we had got into a fight and he ended up cheating on me me and him had had sex and i found out that i was pregnant but i also had sex with some one else but we used protection when i went to the doctor the doctor said i was 15wks and 3 days which means i was pregnant b4 i had sex with the other dude but what i want to know is can i possibly be pregnant by this other person and not my boyfriend can this happen

I've been going out with this guy for a few years and we've both decided that we want to take our relationship to the next level. We have talked about sex, but don't know what the best way to go about it is (we're both vergins).
