What do you think about mixed ppl like me? All thoughts open

We have a biracial child. Unfortunately, we have had a few problems with uneducated people. It is a little hard for her when she is exposed to these things. She is the apple of my eye and the love of my heart, and I cherish her every curl and her cafe au lait complexion. I love everything about her. It is important to note that all my children are so different in so many ways, yet people only notice my biracial child as an individual and see her as different. To those we care about and are close to, it makes no difference, but to my child, it is hard for her at times. I argued with many people who thought that my child might be treated differently than the other children in our family, but they were right. It wouldn't change how I did anything, or any choices I made, but it is an issue that sometimes comes up, and is quickly dealt with and dismissed. Celebrate your individuality, and not just your race. After all, we are all individuals. Enjoy it, and try to be proud of all that is special about you, from your thoughts, to your heart, to your unique gifts with which you were graced by your Creator.

I know of alot of mixed people or friends who have mixed childeren. It is very accepted.
Growing up I was raised that it was wrong, but my parents are 78 & 69. I'm 32 and I am gonna teach my kids that there is nothing wrong w/ it. I have 3 sons and whatever race they choose is totally up to them. If they date outside of our white race I will be fine w/ it. All I want is for my sons to be happy.
People who hate people because of their race are idiots. I hear alot of people say that it isn't fair for the child, the people who say that are the ones who are rasist and just don't want to admit it so they say it because they think it sounds better than saying they are against it and are racist. In todays world anything goes, everybody has something about themselves that is beautiful no matter what color they are. People are people and color shouldn't mean a thing. It would be a pretty boring world if we all looked the same.

I think biracial children are the most exotic and beautiful of all - but it's a mixed blessing. So often it is hard to feel a part of either group. At an early age, people just want to label you, black, white, asian, latina, and how can anyone choose just one if you so clearly belong to all - but this is such an interesting problem. What makes a person "white" or "black" or for that matter "indian" or "asian" - is it one drop, or is it just the environment you grow up in or move into? Such a good question - not enough time to fully explore, but good to discuss openly in this format.

Nothing really; I mean mean nothing wrong. Ur just another person. I dated a biracial for a little while. Look at Tiger Woods, he's full of alot of nationality, black, indian, white.... It's just a different color of skin. Some ppl that just see u may just think u have a suntan now. They may see no white in u. It doesnt matter.

i think that mixed people are just like any other people they can acheive goals , accomplish dreams ,become millionaires, whatever their heart desires if they are willing to work for it just like any person who is all white or all black i am mixed with spanish and white i have six cousins who are all black and white they attend magnet schools and they are all just as intellegent as the next person you should be proud of yourself and who you are no matter what anyone says tonight i think mixed people are wonderful

I dunno WHY mixed people are so hot, but they are. It seems the best qualities of either race combine into one! Look at Latinos (Southwestern European + New World Indian)!
I wonder if, since widespread mixing is such a new thing, it might be because only the hottest people of one race date only the hottest people from the other race.

We'll I'm Puerto Rican and Indian, and some people thinks that's a very very rare mixed, but I'm proud to be who I am

I think that mixed people look great. They usually look like they have a wonderful tan!

There is no difference between you and anyone else! In fact most of the Biracial children I have seen are absolutely beautiful!!

mixed ppl are beast im mixed(and what ppl) mixed with 4 thing Italian,Latino,Brazilian,and Jamacian and im sexy i look almost like that avatat thingy thing
