i'm curious about something. could u guys post yours child's weight, height, and age for me so i could compare

the reason i ask is because my son eats alot. and he's only 7 weeks old @ 23.3 inches tall and 14 lbs. on one hand it bothers me b/c i know he's too heavy for his age. and on the other hand it doesn't bother me b/c it just seems as if his weight is trying to keep up with his height. i've looked at charts and i do know that he is taller than most 8 week old babies and from looking at him he doesn't look as if he's already doubled his birth weight. his weight and height has him wearing 3/6M clothes already. opinions?

ps. his dad is 6'5" if that means anything

In the hospital my baby was on Similac with Iron and was spitting up a lot of it, so they switched her to Enfamil Prosobee Lipil (soy). Now She has a mustard yellow diarrhea. She has had it for 2 days. Should I switch her to yet a 3rd kind of formula?

my son is 5 months. i breastfed for 2 1/2 months. i know breast milk is best as it builds up the immune system. my son seems to catch colds frequently. he caught a cold in late december that went away in early january. he now caught another cold recently. my son does go to a sitter with other children so i think he catches it from them. plus, the weather has been very chilly lately. so is it my fault or just his surroundings/environment?

My infant is just growing out of all of her 0-3 month clothes, and we know we're not having any more kids so I'm going to get rid of them. I know someone who is willing to buy them all, but I don't really know how much to charge. They're pretty much all Carter's. I was at the mall today and they're all still being sold in stores. There aren't any stains on anything. Do you think 50% of new is fair to charge for them? If not, what do you think they might be worth?

Her eye started to really water and is red and puffy. It started today and it really concerns me. We thought she may have poked herself in the eye but her eye is still getting worse.

She's not going to find out ahead of time whether it's a boy or a girl, so a help in both would be great. I told her that I was asking this question on this cite, and that I'd print out the pages of your guys' answers and give it to her, so please keep them realistic and PG. Thanks a bunch guys!

Is it normal to feel like your memory is not as good after you have a baby? I just find I easily forget things, I can have a conversation and a few seconds later forget what I was talking about, is this normal?

My baby is two weeks old. I wasn't able to nurse him, so I pump my milk and feed him from the bottle. Just couple days ago, I had a LOT of milk. I was able to get 4 oz. from each breast every three hours and I was leaking a lot between that. Yesterday I noticed I could hardly get 3 oz. and today it is not even 2 oz. What is happening, is my milk drying up? Is there anything I can do to increase it again? Can it be happening because I don't get more calories than I used to?

My daughter is 7 months old and has been scooting around the house backwards. How can I help go forward? She is getting so frustrated. She has the up on hands and knees thing down. She moves her legs and can even go into a siting position from there, she just can not move forward. We have tried to show her but she is very independant even for a 7 month old and gets very upset. We have put toys down to incurage her. And my 7 year old has been crawling around the house to try to show her. Any ideas? I know she will do it when she does it but she wants too sooooooo badly

My daughter is 5 weeks old and doing a weird sleeping thing. One day she'll sleep really good..wake up just to eat, have half hour play time, go back to sleep...next day she'll stay up ALL day..till I finally have enough at night and lie down with her. I've tried car rides (she hates them) I've tried the sucky, going for a walk..everything I can think of. She's been doing this for 3 weeks now, and is very tired. I know babies don't have a routine at this age, but this is a bit much. She also has a swing, and that doesnt help much. Anyone else go through something like this?

My son will not drink from his bottle. I tried giving him a sippy cup, but he will not drink from that either. I have even tried a regular cup and he doesn't like that. I'm currently have him taking motrin, teething tablets and teething rings.
