My daughter is getting flat on the back of her head from sleeping on her back. She gets adequate belly time and does not spend much time in a car seat. Her dr. said it was ok for her to sleep on her belly now but I can't get her to do it.

Most people feel that they have a right to an u/s, but I’ve never had one for either of my two children. Is there anyone else here who didn’t get one? Why didn’t you get one? Did you decline or did your doctor tell you it wasn’t necessary? Or did you not receive medical care during your pregnancy?

I have an almost 10 month old and he has been cruising for a couple of months. Last night he started standing up, from a sitting position, in the middle of the floor and taking a couple of steps. He did this several times. He also will let go and cruise form one piece of furniture to the next or to me(taking a few unaided steps). In everyone's experience, how long did it take for this behavior to translate in to walking? Thanks! I am not trying to compare, just want to know what others' have experienced?

I have 5wk baby boy and he has colic. We've tried infacol, colief, and i've been giving him the chamomilla 3x granules which have really helped but he's still doing the crying thing for up to three hours at night. I also massage his tummy regularly. The baby food he is on is Farleys which is the best one for colicky babies apparantely.
Does anyone out there have a suggestion or cure for this please.
Thanks in advance

I have white film on my avent baby bottles after they dry. I have tried to swish salt and ice to remove it but it didn't work. I use town water.

I have recently started eating cereal that is high in fiber for breakfast. This is the only change in my diet since the start of my problem. My has not changed except for the cereal. Bean-o does not help one bit. Sorry if this is gross but I need help!

That evening he started throwing up and got diarreah. We called the doctor who said to give him pedialite. Which seems to have helped. But I was wondering if this is normal? I don't ever remember my kids doing this. I'm concerned for his next set of shots.

I have a four week old baby who remains very unsettled. We are currently feeding him SMA White for hungrier babies. He is very windy and not sleeping. We have tried giving him Infacol and have just moved him onto Gripe water both of which only work for a short time. I was just wondering whether it is the food we are giving him? Can we move him onto Cow and Gate and if so, do we give him the hungrier baby or normal?

my pediatrician said that when i make my son a bottle, i need to use bottled water.....he is on a special formula for colic baby's.

i have not used the bottled stuff yet...mainly b/c i cant see paying for WATER!!!! when i have it running out of the tap for free (we have well-water, so yes, its free)

If i decide to start using the bottled stuff...i will buy it in the Gallon size (like milk comes in) - Does it have to be refrigerated???

My 11 month old has a fever which fluxuates between 37 - 39.4 celcius... I have given her baby ibprofen and she has been sleeping alot. I have also given her cool / luke warm baths to help bring the temp down. I know that in the past when she has been teething she had a slight fever but it was always accompanied with a sore bottom... She seems fine within herself just really really warm. What could be causing her this hotness.... and am I missing anything I should be doing to keep her cool? Ok I JUST called the doctors to be on the safe side, and she said that it may be a urine infection as it is commonly missed amongst babies... and I now have to catch a urine sample... how do you do that?
