I'm 17 years old and I am a daddy to a beautiful baby girl, and I'm now engaged to her mommy, she's the love of mylife.

Well... my daughter, wasn't born very strong and we have to be careful with her. She just broke a high fever and she misses her mommy. You see, her mom[my fiancee] is sick right now, and I am petrified to bring my daughter near her mom. If she gets sick.. god only knows.

She won't stop crying, she's not colicky, and she isn't teething, she misses her mommy.

How can I help my 5 month old beauty?

She's really irritable and it's not gas (as far as I can tell) all that she wants to do is nurse.

My four month old granddaughter holds her head to the right and when you try to move it she resists. She holds her head up well and grasps and smiles and does everything else she is supposed to do.

What should I do?Is there anything natural I can use to help him dry up his mucus?

I have breastfed in public a few times (covered up) and had no problems with people - they either didn't notice or didn't seem to mind
I dont understand why people get so upset about it -when it is natural and its how my baby is fed - just like thousands of other babies are
ANYWAY ***
I will be traveling on a TRAIN soon for 7 hours andwill have to breastfeed my daughter for at least twice during that time frame

Are there any rules/ guidlines to Breastfeeding in Public Transportation that I should know about
And should I expect people to get offended?
What would you do?
Any advice - please
Has any of you Moms out there been in a similiar situation -like on a Plane or Bus??? If so what did you do????
Thanks

my husband and i have a one week planned beach trip this month and decided that it would be best not to take our son, who is only 10 months old, with us. my parents are more than happy to watch him for the week and are actually looking forward to it. do you think he will be okay for a week without his parents? will leaving him cause any emotional damage? thanks in advance!

My boyfriend (the babys father) wants to name the baby if its a boy Keane Riley. I don't mind Riley cuz that was my boys name, but he doesn't want riley to be the babys first name. I don't like Keane. He wants to name the baby a German name. I suggested Lukas. He said it reminds him too muck of lucifer. I said how? And he said L-U-C. I told him that thats not the way I was gonna spell Lukas. I was gonna spell it with a k not a c. Any other German names? the babys last name is gonna be Loyd.

Ok, I'm getting ahead of myself a little as I'm not pregnant yet (but find out in a few days if I am!) and was wondering how others handle a demanding cockatiel (or any type of parrot) and a newborn. I've had my darling cockatiel for just over 3 years since he was a baby and I'm worried that not only his thirst for affection and attention will be draining, but that his squawking on dusk and dawn will wake or unsettle a newborn. I love him dearly and he has been my baby for the last few years, and I don't want to ditch him for a new baby, but you can't put a newborn in a cage if it's crying. Thoughts?

I am interested in this stroller but my mother has given her opinion that she thinks the backing isn't very strong. If a toddler was to throw a tempertantrum and throw their head back she thinks that the fabric will rip. Any opinions?

Four weeks ago, I delivered a baby boy by way of c-section. Three weeks ago, the incision became infected, so I went back to the doctor and she opened it, removed the infected tissue and put me on antibiotics. Today, the skin around the open incision is red and hurts, and feels raw. The incision is almost completely closed, and I feel like a retard calling the doctor again.

I am going to a baby shower on Saturday. The expecting mom is having twins. They know one of them is a girl, but aren't quite sure about the other. They are pretty sure they are both girls though. I was wondering do you get everything the same? I don't want to get clothes if they aren't sure if they are both girls. For example if I get a stuffed animal, do they both need to be the same or can they be different? I think it's ok if it's different but i'm not sure. Just wanted some advise on what to get. Thanks for your help.
