I took my son on a boat at 7 months old.
I just got him a life jacket designed for babies. It was designed to keep baby on their back with a head support. Also had a strap between their legs to keep it from sifting upward.

It wasn't a long boat ride and not too hot, he loved going out on the boat.

I think they could go out as soon as they are able to hold their head up well and begining to sit up

As long as you have a life jacket and use infant sunscreen and maybe a sun hat on her, she's probably fine to go on a boat at 7 mos.

as long as the baby has a life jacket that fits, yes they can go on a boat. I don't think there are any rules or laws that say a baby/child needs to be a certain age. Just make sure to be safe! ;)

Last week I went walking along the Thames Path (in England) with a friend, and we spotted a baby on a barge, fast asleep. She was only three/four weeks old. I think it depends on boat speed /how secure the fastenings are on the lifejacket/how happy you are to take a baby on a boat. There is no minimum age.

hey as long as the baby can sit up on its own it can be in a boat or deep water. my half brothers half brother from the other side went on a boat and he's only like 3months old.but then again hes pretty big. and wen i was like 6month(long time ago) i went a lake and was in the water all the time in life jacket

As long as you don't your baby to drive the boat, and start to host a great baby shower on boat. Think about it, baby only 2 months old, the can fly to NY

7 months is fine. You can buy body suits that have a flotation device built right into them. Very handy. Just use common sense, sunscreen, hat, and make sure the boat is safe. Happy boating!

depend on the boat. i took both of mine on the boat. but it was a bigger boat, not a small one. and it depends on you and the boat, and if you can get a small enough life jackets. both of my kids were bigger babies so the life jackets fit.

Yes she should be fine. My girls were both on a boat when they were about 6 months old.
