Didn't the doctor tell you to pack it with wet to dry? I had the same thing happen to me five months ago, and I had to pack my twice a day for seven weeks before mine closed. Go to your doctor but ask to be seen by someone else. It sounds like they are going to have to open it again. I'm so sorry for you. I know how it feels. I still have pain where mine got infected. (Also, when I asked my doctor about the pain on the inside, they said it could be an infection if the skin around it was red and sore.) Hurry to your doctor and get it taken care of. Best wishes and I hope you feel better.

You never want to mess around with surgical incisions. The rate of nosocomial (hospital acquired) diseases are higher today than ever. Don't feel stupid for calling the doctor; if it turns to gangrene or staph then you will feel stupid. However, it isn't unusual for healing incisions to itch, but it shouldn't be red and hurting because that means inflammation which means your body is trying to fight off something.

Call. That is what they are there for. You may be doing too much. I had a C-Sec 6 mths ago and min kept opening in little places and bleeding. It sucks recovering from those with a newborn to take care of, but you will feel like a new woman soon! Congrats!

Please don't hesistate to call your MD. I got a post-op infection after my second C-section and ended up in the hospital on IV antibiotics (the antibiotics they gave me in the office didn't help).
This is serious stuff that needs to be taken care of right away -- call today even if the office is closed!

Absolutely call, it may not look like a big deal on the outside but you could end up with a massive infection underneath. Trust me, they get far worse calls than this.

Personally it sounds like it is healing but since I can't see it I can't say for sure. Scars are red and raw. They also itch like crazy. Call your doctor to be on the safe side. Infections can be deadly.

Here's the case, feel like a retard and die from serious complications, or, not die and never be able to have more babies? Go to your doctor, get the problem taken care of, don't orphan your son at such a young age.

Hun no worries, when it heals it will get red, raw, and itchy. Its not that its raw its numb, you wont probably be able to feel that part of your stomach after you completely heal, C-Sections are hard, I had one with my little girl, she is 20 Months and I still have some problems with it!

That's what you pay them for- to take care of you and answer your health concerns. It's their job- they won't care one little bit if you call. You are not a retard, just go ahead and call! If you don't call and it is infected then you'll really be sorry.
