I am a mother of three teens, we did lots of road trips. they seem to be fine. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you feed the baby. The baby will most likely sleep. Most babies that age sleep alot any ways and most babies like the ride.

Well, the baby isn't doing much at 2 months old, so it probably would be okay...knowing that it will take you probably about 30 hours (not 24) since you will have to stop so often to feed and change the baby. One thing I would be greatly concerned about though is where the car seat is placed. If it is on one side of the car or another, the baby will be in the sun for a really long time (even with a sunshade, that's a lot of sun).

Safe, yes, advisable? Maybe not. If your baby likes his carseat, no big deal. Some babies get really sick of their carseat after a couple hours. My son was okay at 2 months old in the car for about 4 hours. After that he just screamed. It was like he was saying "Get me out of this contraption!" If you've never taken him on a car trip longer than an hour, you might not want to test him on a 24 hour car ride.

as long as the car has air conditioning it should be safe. your newborn will probably sleep through the whole drive anyways. Remember to get one of those baby shade things so that your baby doesn't get to much exposure to the sun. It would be hell having to deal with a baby that has a sun burn. Keep light clothing on her like a onsie and she should be fine. Take a few breaks so that you can keep her diaper changed and such.. Give her water in her bottle also, it won't hurt, it will help to keep her hydrated.

I seriously think this is one you should sit on the sidelines for. You'll have to pull over every few hours for feedings & burps, diaper changes, and heaven forbid - what if something happens where the baby becomes ill??? All of these things will slow the trip down to an absolute crawl.

You should try to sit this one out if you can help it. Even though your baby will sleep a lot, the baby can get kind of cramped in the carseat. Plus you'll have to nurse or change often being a newborn.

Be sure that you stop frequently to nurse/feed and change him. Plan extra time into your trip for stopping. Don't be surprised if his sleep patterns are thrown off a little for a couple of days if he sleeps a lot in the car.

sounds too dangerous especially if you are not planning to stay the night for a rest
the child would be ok but be prepared to stop for nappy changes and feeds
do not think about drigin whilst feeding and all
the baby may get cranky and cry
i would stay home... if you were planin gon staying there or stopping along hte way then only then i would consider it
