He's in pt, ot and developmental therapy each once per week. I took him to a diagnostic specialist and they said his head circumference is in the 20th percentile and he has developmental delays and low muscle tone. They will not diagnose yet. Does anyone have a son like this? Mine is 16 months old. Do they sometimes grow out of this or do you think it sounds like a disability? He is crawling now, but he's physically normal if he were 6-9 months old. What do you think?

Okay, where do I begin? My daughter is 1 and is still eating out of stage 2 jar foods. If any type of food that is "chunky" not "smooth" touches her tongue she starts to gag. At first the doctor just said to give her time to adjust but now the doctor's are saying to keep trying to give her finger foods. She WILL NOT take them. If anyone has had this problem please let me know of any suggestions I can do or anyone's opinion will help. Also I have started her on milk and she is very constipated and once again the doctor said to give her prune juice, if there are any comments on this I would appreciate it.

I notice that lately my 2 1/2 mth old son is not sleeping like before. I know that newborns at first sleep a lot. My son is sleeping about 2hrs tops all day till night time. He will go to sleep around 8:30pm and wake up for feeding between 1am-2am(he goes back to sleep) but afterwards he is up again around 5-6am. If I get lucky, he will go right back to sleep after I feed him and wake up finally at 8am. I also notice that when I lay him down(on his back), he tries to flip around either to the left side or right side, isn't kind of early for him to be doing this?

I'm planning on opening up a day spa...Mainly for all the Moms who have no time to go out and pamper yourself because you're stuck at home with your babies. The spa will have all your basic amenities, massages, treatments, etc. Along with pilates and yoga classes and a little workout area. But right next door we'll have a Day-Care where you can drop the little one off to be taken great care of till you're done pampering yourself....You really don't have to be a Mom to enjoy the spa. But it is targeted for the moms...Would this spa attract your business or at least peak some interest?

About my husband that comes home & asks "So,did you do anything productive today?" I am a stay-at-home mom with a 6 month old baby that I breast-feed. Usually I load the dishwasher every day & do laundry once a week, & fix a good healthy homemade supper every night. The rest of the house is somewhat messy, but I am so busy with the baby. Please tell me what you think & if you stay home with your kids. Thanks!

We have a 2 year old although due to Meningitis and a mis-diagnosed hernia has the mental skills of a 1 year old. Although a very huggy baby (really snuggles into you) he loves to pull my wifes and any one elses long hair. As you can imagine after a whole day of having your hair pulled it can get quite painful. He's not of a mental age yet to understand NO etc. does anyone have an idea how we can stop this?

She's around me, her dad & her grandmother, my husbands mother who is living with us until August, every day. She's is just fine around the three of us but when she's with my parents or with other people she starts to cry. I'm not sure if this is something that goes away with time or if there are things we can do to get her more comfortable with other people...especially my parents. I'm also concerned about this since my daughter is going to go into daycare in August - right now my husbands mother takes care of her during the day. Any helpe or suggestions will be great.

Does anyone have any experiences to share regarding these two baby formulas.? I used enfamil lipil with my four y.o and she didn't have any problems. My two month old is on similac advanced and she seems to have trouble having a BM. She strains and only passes a small marble size bm thats green and feels like play doh. (yeah i touched it). I use this formula b/c i receive WIC. I think that i should switch to enfamil. I hope that i am not paranoid
Has anyone used bright beginnings?
