There is no way to know from this information. If each of you has one blue-eyed parent, then you each have one blue eye gene and one brown eye gene (hazel is a variant of brown). So...you have a 25% chance of having a baby with blue or green eyes and a 75% chance of having a baby with brown or hazel eyes.

The only way to have blue (or green) eyes is to inherit a blue eye gene from each parent. One or two brown eye genes will give you brown (or hazel) eyes. So, if you have brown eyes, you have to have at least one brown gene. But if you had a parent with blue eyes, you must have inherited one blue eye gene, too.

The differences between blue and green and between brown and hazel are more complicated...

I think there is really no way to tell until after they're born and then the eyes can change for up to a year. I have a friend who recently had a child and her daughter had icy blue eyes, my friend has brown eyes and so do her parent and grandparent and Her child's father has brown eyes and so does his parent and grandparent. No one knew where these beautiful eyes came from and still don't,sometimes your eyes come from a gene way back in your family. Oh and they even did a DNA test to prove to the father he was the father cause she is African American and he is Mexican and he thought there was no was that could be his daughter with those eyes. Also, my cousin has children whose eyes are hazel, olive green and some who have gray eyes and that shocked all of our family cause our whole family has brown almost black eyes not to mention my family is African American and his children's mother is also. I guess its like gambling!♥

Your baby's eyes will be blue. All baby's eyes are blue.

When they change, the baby's eyes will be hazel green. It does not matter what the grandparents eye colors are because both you and your husband are deplaying a recessive gene. The only way your baby will have a different eye color is if there is a genetic mutation (which is highly unlikely.)

Well, when the baby is born, look. Actually, maybe give it a couple days because I've heard that they can change slightly for a few days.

Darker colors usually dominate, but with blue eyes in the grandparents and both of you having hazel, anything is possible.

Well first of all you can rule out brown as a color of your childs eyes...if either you or your husband carried the gene for brown eyes you would have brown eyes...since neither one of you do then your child will have some light eyed variety...

Light eyed genes are recessive and brown eyed genes are dominant. In the case of you, for example, you received a light eyed gene from your dad (even though his eyes are brown) and a light eyed gene from your mom (she only has light eyed genes) your dad has both a brown eyed gene and a light eyed gene but because the brown eyed gene is dominant his eyes are brown.

Lets put it this way..if you see two blue eyed parents with a brown eyed baby then either that child is adopted or Daddy isnt the Daddy because it is genetically impossible.

It's a toss up. Brown is a dominant trait but not in your family. Doing the genetics, your babies eyes could be Brown, or a light hazel.

There is no way to tell for sure. Because of your family genetics, your children could have green, brown, or blue eyes.
FYI: I have hazel eyes too and I have one brown-eyed child and one blue-eyed child. And they are both very cute!

For a parent to a new born child, every color that shines into the baby's eyes would be a simple joy. The color doesn't really matter as long as the vision is normally perfect.

It usuelly goes by the dominent gene. Receissive gene plays a part. It takes at least a year to know what colour their eyes will be. They might be blue. But Brown, dark brown are dominment colours.
