I'm planning on opening up a day spa...Mainly for all the Moms who have no time to go out and pamper yourself because you're stuck at home with your babies. The spa will have all your basic amenities, massages, treatments, etc. Along with pilates and yoga classes and a little workout area. But right next door we'll have a Day-Care where you can drop the little one off to be taken great care of till you're done pampering yourself....You really don't have to be a Mom to enjoy the spa. But it is targeted for the moms...Would this spa attract your business or at least peak some interest?

yes ....the thing you would benefit from adding would be someoe to do our hair and makeup...people who do makeup and hair draws in business. Mothers need that boost. After the workout and massage we will want to look good so that would be a suggestion. good luck...also if you could have a glass window where the kids are so we can see them. Moms gets all freaked out leaving thier kids with people they don't know. good luck

Free day care would attract more mom's. You might also look into doing some baby massage classes or something that can get new mom's together with their babies. That would attract a lot of business. New mommies are always looking for an opportunity to show off their little ones.

If I were fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home-mom, I doubt I'd have the money for a spa, since we'd be living on my husband's salary alone. It's a nice idea though. If I had money, I'd definitely try it once...I'd just have to make doubly sure your daycare workers were good people.

Also, I wouldn't consider stay-at-home-moms "stuck" at home. I know it was just the word you chose to use, but I'd give my left arm to be "stuck" with my kids every day!

It has to be affordable. Moms that would have time to go to a day spa most likely don't work. I do work and I don't have time to breathe much less go to a spa.

This seems great! But it sounds like it could get pricey. I would include a hair salon as well, because those services are used more often. But I love the concept. You will have to keep in mind that it would need to be staffed by a lic. daycare provider, as well as provider/child ratios. But I love the concept!

That would be wonderful!! I like your idea. I actually have a spa appointment in two weeks, and had a really hard time finding a sitter. How convinient that would be!

sure if it were affordable! I mean, most stay at home moms stay home because to go back to work would not benefit them any cause they would have to pay for child care. Jobs just don't pay enough, even if 2 people from one family are working. It's not enough. Good Luck!

It would be great- especially if you can somehow make sure moms know the little ones are happy- then I know I could at least relax and enjoy my treatment!
