Yes that's one of the signs- it usually means he is starting not to like the wetness- Let the lil one go without a diaper a lil bit each day- start timing when he drinks- lil boys are fun to train- but the morning pee is the easiest one to get.
P.S have him go into the washroom too with daddy or other males- so he gets used to the flushing of the toilet... i e the noise it makes. Learn to pee standing up..etc don't rush though - he'll catch on when he's completely ready- but if he goes without a diaper buy that potty & try to have him notice when he goes- so you can say ---good boy come on- just like the big boys too;let' s try the potty-....

If your one year old is capable of taking off his diaper, you might want to look into potty training him. Potty training is great during the summer. You could have him wear pull ups around the house and buy him a potty. Don't be discouraged if he doesn't get it right away. Persistence is key here.

Well, he certainly seems like he doesn't like the feeling of a wet one. Does he stay dry through the night? Just this morning I caught my one year old in time and took him to the toilet where he did his first peepee there! Try to catch him at a time like this. When he's still dry but should be about time to wet. Try sitting him down on the toilet and watch his reaction. If he doesn't like being there than he's not ready.
Potty training takes a keen eye from the parents. It becomes your responsibility to make sure you catch your child before the unwanted occurs.
I am going to wait a while longerwith my boy, but good luck to you!

No, chances are he's not ready. My son did the same thing at that age and I thought he was ready to be trained. Turns out he wasn't. To him it was just a game. After the game got old he stopped. He didn't get potty trained until he turned two. Don't rush them or push them....it only makes it harder.

My son is also 1 and he has done this before, but he was just doing it cause he thought it was funny. He stopped doing it though. Don't rush into potty training right now. The poor kid would probably fall in the toilet!

That is one of the many signs you should look for, yes. He seems a little young but it couldn't hurt to introduce him to the potty, and follow his lead. You might luck out and have an early potty trainer!

My four year old did the same thing at that age.. it could be that he might be ready but proably not.. you can try!!! i did but he wasn't..
I realized that it was fun for him to do because he got a reaction from me.. so i put his diaper on backwards.. he couldn't reach behind him to pull the tabs and after a few weeks i was able to turn it back around!!

im not sure i dont have children but i think its alittle young to try potty training him he doesn't seem old enough to understand the point of it. Some children just do this for attention.
Good luck though
