i really want a computer
because im starting high school and my cousin said that she got a lot of homework this year at high school that has to be done in the computer.
and im tired of having to go to the library to do my work there.

i dont live with my mom though i live with my grandparents and they have to drive me to the library to do homework.


how can i convince my mom to buy me one?

ok i had sex 3 months ago {about} and he pulled out but i had sex 2 times in the same day w/ him and later that night i got my period and it lasted fo like 4 days normally 7 and ive had my period fo the past 2 months but ma stomach is gettin bigger and i feel sick alot and really tired and always hungry but after i eat i wanna throw up what are ma chances that im pregnant??

It certainly seems to be becoming more prevalent even in the last 10 years since I've been one.

Why are parents not doing a better job? And spoiling them with too much stuff?

Kids need attention, not stuff. I really think that's the problem. They need responsibility to learn to work for their stuff so that they appreciate it.

What do you guys think?

I want to go into some sort of medical proffession, such as vetinary medicine. But my grades in highschool up to sophmore year are horrible, and I am in basic math courses. If I go to a community college and raise my grades is there a chance I will still be able to get accepted into such a program? I'm by no means stupid, but have suffered greatly do to family situations and my studies slipped greatly.

Are there any brands of deodorants made for boys? My son just turned 8 and already needs it. I haven't been able to find anything specifically for his age, or even for teenage boys. Is it safe to give him something made for men?

I walked in my 13y/o daughter's room, and we are both embarassed that.. she was naked. After a while I couldn't help but wonder, what's this new thing that teenage girls leave absolutely no hair in their private area? She looked like the day she was born!

"Subhuman" is our family's description of an adolescent these days. lol I have a 13 yr old daughter who is very pretty and physically advanced for her age. Last night I had to remove her from a group of boys while out at pizza. She insists on hanging out around these guys even though she admits that she dislikes one, hates another and is mad at a third. I have told her numerous times that these boys are off limits but since she refused to listen to me I went and made her come sit with me and dad. She was POD! But my instincts tell me that these boys are the kind who would think nothing of it to get her alone and rape her. (No exagerating) We are not the strictest parents on the block, but with this I am adamant that she will not hang around with these guys. I don't want her hurt and I'm trying to keep her from getting into a position that she will regret later. And I guess I'm trying to keep her from growing up too fast.
Am I right in insisting that she abide by this "rule"?

I live with my dad, I'm 16 and got my period 4 months ago, My friend has been giving me pads, I gotta tell my dad he has to buy me some already.., plus my friend has huge maxi pads and I'm very small so it's extremely uncomfortable. I'd be sooo embarassed to tell my dad, how can I tell him? or better yet.. how did you work it out?

My 17 year old is just getting his license this month. Doesn't have a job & isn't trying too hard to find one. I swear that boy will get out of the car and not even shut the door.

We have to remind him to take the trash out EVERY day & today he blew off an appointment that I just reminded him of last night. We bought him a car, but he won't even go out and start it. No interest in girls - or boys for that matter.

He loves nothing more than playing a certain game on the internet & I'm worried a lot of problems are stemming from that.
My husband wants to completely shut off the internet, computer, XBox, and PS2 (which are all in his room) until he gets it together and starts showing responsibility.

I'm trying to get him to realize it's important to to do what you need to do because it's the right thing to do - not because you're punished if you don't. HOWEVER.... I am so exhausted and at the end of my rope.

Is this normal for teenage boys? Is my husband right?

When does someone go from having nice things to being spoiled?
I'd say my family are pretty well off. We have many material items.

I'd class myself as being very lucky. I pretty much have everything I need and want.

But I don't think I'm spoiled. I have my own job, I do well at school and I think I'm quite mature. I don't brag about what I have though. I do community service aswell.

But where is the line between being spoiled and just having nice things?

my boyfriend says he is terrified to have sex because he is afraid of getting AIDS or STD or HIV or another sexually transmitted disease. his friends kidd and tease him about it but he still says hes gonna wait and have sex when HES ready to have sex. he said he WANTS to but hes not READY. i know he has a good head on his sholders,but is this weird or is my boyfriend just responcible with good morals?

She is very secretive about what she's doing on there. She uses the site under an assumed name, so I can't even check that way. Should I even want to check? She excells in every other area and I have no reason not to trust her, but there's a little voice in my head that keeps nagging me with questions like: Why doesn't she want me to see what she's doing, etc. I've asked her and she assures me there's nothing to worry about.
I've thought about restricting her use, but I trust her and don't want her to think that I don't. Anybody else going through this?

I'm working at Vacation Bible School this year. There is a boy there who is a huge clown. He's funny as hell. He's also as hot as hell. =]

He talks to everyone, even me and I only met him a few days ago. He will be talking to his friend then he looks up at me to see if I'm listening. He kids around with me sometimes too. Do you think he likes me? I don't know if he does or not cause my friend Chrissy told me he's a "man who.re". My little cousin just turned 4 years old, and like most 4 year olds he an be spastic at times. They live in a different state than us, but my aunt and my mother are still very close. it seems like everytime my mom gets off the phone with my aunt, she tells me about a harsh punishment that she has given her son (my cousin). i have heard of her trapping him in a carseat in the basement, closing the door, and then turning out the light (he is very afraid of the dark). i have heard of her trapping him in the basement MANY times, and if she EVER cathes him spitting she washes him moth out with sope, which has lye in it, which could potentially make him very sick . She is also liberal with spankings. She was never like this with her other child when she was that age, and she was equally as high strung. Do you think that this is borderline abusive, harsh, or just over the top? i want to know if i am overreating. is it really no big deal?

I just got together with this new girl & lately she's been acting suspicious. She has this really close guy friend and whenever I want to hang out with her she always says, "Can't! I'm doing something with Bradley (the guy friend". We talk online and on the phone but we're never really together in person. We just got together so I don't really care too much for her yet. But is she cheating? She also is ALWAYS on the phone with Bradley. Once we were at the movies (one rare occasion) and her phone rang and she's all like, "OMG its Bradley, i need to take this!" then ran outside. When she came back in she looked all happy and flirty and stuff. I know Bradley and he's SUCH a player. I think she's cheating, but I'm not sure. Please help!
