Adolescent - July 2007

My 12 year old son behaves like an immature toddler, and I've tried all types of punishments. I thought that if he wants to behave like an immature toddler, why not dress him like one?
So, do you think I should punish him by putting diapers on him, or what else can I do?
by the way, I already checked, there ARE diapers that fit him... Huggies size 7!

i am 5 weeks pregnant and im gonna have an abortion. but the guy that got me pregnant wont even talk to me in person i havent seen him in like 4 weeks. i asked if we could talk in person and he said that there was nothing to talk about i was pregnant and having an abortion end of story. i dono what to do cuase i know im having an abortion but its gonna be hard and i need him here for me. can you guys give me any advise on what i should do.

I stopped getting taller when I was 12. I've been 5'2" tall ever since. I know some people who are 16 & 17 who are STILL sprouting & getting taller. Does it vary from person-to-person? I've known girls who wer 5'0" @ the age of 13 & by the time they're 17, they're 5'10".

I'm seventeen and my parents are such control freaks. I love to play sports and be active and I don't like coming home and just sitting around. I've played soccer for a few years and I would like to play it during my senior year in high school. But, my parents want me to eaither do nothing or prefurably work instead. I don't like working during the school year because I never have time to do homework and I come home exhausted after a 12 hour day. What should I do? I'm almost eighteen and they treat me like a little kid. I'd even pay for the whole thing with my money that I've worked for this summer. Please help.

I'm kind of annoyed because my mom won't let me paint my toenails blue. It's a really cute blue... light and shimmery. It's called moonlight blue or something. I really don't see why it matters what color I paint my toenails! I can see her not letting me dye my hair blue, but that's my hair and it can't wash off. Would you let your 13-year-old daughter paint her toenails blue? And can you explain why she doesn't want me to paint them blue?

My bff is turning 13 and she weighs less than my 8 year old sister!No,she is not starved or anything.Her whole family is like that even though they can eat like pigs!
Heres the problem.
Whenever my younger sisters
&me hang out with her&her sisters they make us feel really bad cause we weigh more than they do.Like if they give us clothes to wear that aviously doesn't fit they think we are fat and really hurt our feelings.They even laugh about about.
Ya see,my bff only weighs 70pounds and shes 4'8 at 13 years.
How can we get her to shut-up about our normal weight just because she thinks we are fat without hurting her feelings???

I'm 13, I'm a good girl, I like my parents, don't lie, have never anything bad. But yesterday I was at a friend's homer and it hapened that we her parents left and we were alone. She's my friend , my age, but her behavior is somewhat different from mine. Since no one would see, she decided to experiment some red wine. She told me to have it too, I dodn't want I know at my age it's wrong but ended up drinking about half a glass. I sweated , maybe because I drank too fast.
I think my parents will never know f I don't tel them. But I don't do things behind their backs, they treat me with love, so now I'm feeling really bad.I know a girl my age shouldn't drink, but I was curious. I won't do this again, but should I tell them anyway? I think this is the right thing to do, but I'm embarrassed, even ashamed. Do I deserve a punishment?

1. Always look stylish & clean
2. When you find a girl u like and you r shy try to get her to notice you. Eye her down or kinda roam around her alot.
3. Its always good to try to make a girl laugh.
4. 85% of the time the girl is dressed to how she acts, use that to get her.
5. When makin small talk compliment her.She will love it or hate it.
6. First impressions r the most important.Dont mess that up.
7. If you rather give da number out than get it. Come up wit it quick like writing it down ealier.
8. Try not to use real big words that she might not understand. That aint ballin
9. Wear Ballin/Stylish/NameBrand clothes in big public places if u expecting to get looked at.Havin friends around is better too if your shy.
10.If you want da direct approach walk up to her & introduce yourself.If she mean/shy/perky work with that and get that number.

We love each other so much, we broke up because he was going to another state. I thought he didnt love me no more but he still does he told me. My biggest mistake is doubtin his love cuz i kinda snapped out. So yes he got pissed. But I have my reasons, cuz he just took me outa his top friends like saying yeah w/e biatch & he kinda ignores me. Before , he wrote 1 poem for me, so I know he loves me. I told him i was sorry and that some chick was telling me stuff that he told her he likes her and blabla [hes a big flirt & by da way its ok 2 like 2 ppl] So hes like "idc i guess i dont lov u den " keyword THEN & GUESS lol. He didnt reply yet. Before he got mad i asked him if he loves me and he said... My step-son has chosen not to go on vacation with the family due to him just starting a new job and not wanting to loose it. We are letting him stay at home by himself for a week. What do you think are some good guidelines (not rules, if I say rules he feels like a baby) for which he should obide by? So far he's not allowed to have friends over past 12am, not allowed to stay over at someone's more than one night, meaning he has to at least spend a night at home every other nite, and calling every nite to confirm he's still alive and kicking. We have some friends keeping an eye on the house if they see anything suspious they are going to call us. But he is a responsible young man and hasn't ever caused problems, so we're not worried. Is there anything I'm missing? Advice would be great! Thanks.

There is a disturbing amount 12 year olds on this site who are pregnant. Babies should not be having babies, it's just wrong. Just think if every generation did that, you might know your greatgreatgreatgreatgreat-grandmother!

ok i'm asking this for my older sister cause she doesn't have an account.

but she said that she had a late period but when she got it, it was normal and then she got it exactly on time the next month and it was normal, and then she got it the next month on time as well. so is it safe to say shes not pregnant? i told her its pretty safe to say she isn't. she believes it was late the in the first place was due to stress.

okay. ... in aug. my family andmy friedns family are going to six flags for 4 days.. the problem is that i will be expecting my period when we go.... i am hoping some of you will have suggstions (where to put tampons, good stuff for cramps).. any help would be wonderful.... im kinda nervous about this. and its all fairly new to me.

would u let them wear a 2 piece swimsuit? play dress up(but i dont like them to wear make up) ? stay the night at a friends house that has brothers?(but u dont want ur girls around other boys)? would u let them wear the short sleep shorts to bed in ur own house? and would they wear shorts or skirts that have to be at the knee? is this to much? what do u agree with or not? i dont go by any of these rules for my girls..should i?
