well, im 13 myself, and its just that, for instance, barbies, they are blonde, ditzy and plastic, a perfect rolmodel. but they give off a strong example of stupidity, i mean, im not blonde, but i have a lot of blpnde friends, most are a little "slow" but others arn't. i mean, it doesn't matter. if she has confidence that she is smart, then she should tell people "I;m a blonde with brains" no one will critisize her then.
Hope i helped

It's a stupid stereotype that has been going on for ages. And those blondes on tv that pretend to be stupid don't help. It's like people thinking I am an idiot just because I am Polish, which is un true since I am a very intelligent women. Just tell her it is a stupid stereotype that people made up and she should pay no attention to it. She's a smart girl, so it shouldn't even concern her.
Haha I love the Three's Company reference. That was funny. But I think the blondes of today help fuel the stereotype, like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears.

I think it's just a generalization. I would have definitely got that joke because I love those shows. They don't make good TV shows like that anymore, now a days everything on TV is junk, except for a rare few things I watch, like CSI's and those shows, and then like the reality TV shows sometimes and the comedy's. I mean not really really good shows like that. That was so hilarious... I love that show. Chrissy did start it though I mean she was a pretty dumb blonde.

dont know but the jokes are funny and i think someone ran with it and it got around so more and more people told them. I dont think that just because someone is blonde they're dumb. I wait till someone proves it. I actually know several really smart blondes. The hair color doesnt make them dumb its the actions they decide to take.

thats a tough question. I'm probably not worthy to answer since I'm brunette, but I think its because of the blondes that made it big pretending to be stupid. Marilyn Monroe, Goldie Hawn, Farrah Fawcett, Suzanne Somers, Anna Nicole, Paris Hilton, and the list goes on. Some of them AREN'T stupid, they just acted it. Why, I don't know, but because of them, decades of smart blonde women followed in their footsteps, pretending and skating through life on their looks. Men enabled it by being suckers for it. The media played to it, and now everyone assumes it. It's sad really.

Lots of jokes have been made about blondes, unfortunately, inferring that they are dumb. It seems some jokesters delight in targeting certain groups of people. Back in my day, it was morons and Pollacks. The color of one's hair has absolutely nothing to do with that person's intellect. Tell your daughter that it's just a myth, and that she shouldn't concern herself with any such stupid statement that she hears regarding her hair color or her intellectual level.
