does this only happen in america?or does it happen all around the world?

Well when somebody does something good, such as NOT getting pregnant at that age, they don't exactly run to the computer and ask questions about it.
What I'm trying to say is, you never hear about any of the good things that happen. Just the bad. Kinda like when you watch the news on TV. There are plenty of good things happening, but you don't hear about them because they are 'boring'.
There are actually LESS teens getting pregnant then are. I think the percentage is 64% of teen who AREN'T getting pregnant, and 36% who ARE.
On top of all that, it's wrong to post a question like this. It would be the same if I posted a questions saying: Do you agree that A LOT of White people are idiots? No offense.
That is just prejudice, and wrong.

there are alot of idiots in the world not just teens. Teens are just given too much freedom these days and pre-teens 10 and 11 yr old kids with cell phones and dressing like hookers on the street corner and with make up that looks like a 4o yr old drunk at a bar. Parent need to stop trying to be nice and their friends stop worrying about if the child hates you and if their friends think your cool. be a parent and set some rules talk to your kids about what happens when you have sex before your ready

well Im 14 and think teenagers are idiots but theres nothing we can really do to get them to stop getting pregnant besides telling them to use all the protection they can ...and it happens all ove rthe world ...I dont know what are world is turning to good luck =] but just to let you know some teen pregnant moms are probably offended by this though some of this is true its half the guys fault ....and the school systems fault and there parents sorta for not paying close enough attention but also this is a stereotyped question its wrong to judge but still good luck

Ceartin teens ARE idiots. They usually join gangs for friends. The girls get pregnant at an early age its sick14 year olds work tha corners for a living Thers too much sex/drug use/violence etc . . Ther should be more teen places like youth centers & places to help the kids.

No I dont agree, I agree that our school systems have a lot of idiots, I agree that a lot of parents are idiots for not taking control. Why would you ask if it only happens in America. That's a very ignorant question, of course it happens everywhere! You'd be an idiot to think it only happens in one place.
Instead of complaining and sterotyping online, why don't you go out and do something about it? Do you feel your the better person now because you posted this with all the rest of the closed minded people on this site? Thanks for the thumbs down though

I am 13 and yet I think that all teens are idiots!!!!!!!!! I think it is because the parents and the way they treat there kids. They are either too controlling or not controlling enough. I have never done any of those things you hear kids talking about these days. Teens these days are a disgrace to those teens that are actually good.

Sorry to bust your bubble but no one is truly an idiot. And if you are going to refer to people in this situation as idiots then you definitely can't limit you choice of people to just teens. Everyone makes bad choices in their life, but the only thing that they can do is learn from it and not take if for granted and let it happen again.

it happens everywhere but about 60% of it goes on in america. 35% is in the uk, and 5% is elsewhere. That sounds about right. About 30 teens come on everynight and say they might be pregnant. That is nowhere NEAR the amount of teens in the world. Besides, why do you have to blame it all on the girl. It's half the guys fault too, and he just buggers off and leaves the poor girl to spend all her money on THEIR child.

Some countries will have you stoned if you have sex, let alone get pregnant. Pregnancies run rampant because of a lack of thought and or a lack of understanding sex ed (if any). My kids will know I'd be more than happy to spot them money for condoms or get them on birth control because I'd rather put up some barriers than have them come home saying "mom, i'm knocked up". They will also know that here in the States, you can get your little behind down to family planning/free clinics to get on bc for free without your parents knowing.

I do agree that most of today's adolescents are stupid. They are just ignorant of the consequences of having sex and protection. No this does not only happen in America but in the entire world. It is a very big problem! But i am living proof that not all of them are! lol
