ok da thin is, me and my parents dont get along well. at anythin.
my dad and me have a very bad relation.as in i feel, he wont leave a chance to scream or insult me.spc in front of people.
well my mum does stick up for me many times, but i feel that i cant talk to her abt anythin.spc abt boys, crushes...
i think da reason is that she doesnt belive that love is for teens or sumthin. she dosnt belive it necesasary to have a bf.
i think i've drifted away from my family. in 6 grade, i was a ttly innocent kid. but then i got kinda corrupted. as in i got really intrested in guys, na i havent even kissed anyone!!
i am like too mordern for my family.
i have no idea wat to do.
sumthimes i feel like leavin da house and go live in sum dumpyard!
it actually feels so lonley,watever real gudfrnds i made have left.and i cant share anythin with anyone.

My close friend has a 9yr old who is acting out. He is refusing to go to school, will not help around the house, and beats up on the younger siblings (more than usual!). When he gets mad or something doesn't happen the way he wants he will throw kitchen chairs across the room at people!
He is acting out because he has 3 younger siblings and feels that he is not loved. However the parents have gone so far to make sure that he gets at least 2 hours alone w/o anyone other than his mom and dad. This worked for a week!! Things have gotten worse and worse. They are looking for a system to help punish and reward him. A structured system to try, because now a days you can't spank kids!
What has worked for you? ANy suggestions?

I have the wierdest feeling now.

You know how in magnets, opposites attract, right? And how some metals and elements aren't magnetic? Well, I feel like I'm copper. Nobody's attracted to me.

My friends have their own magnetism ways. EJ has long hair, and he racks up phone numbers faster than you can say "Santa Anna." And Chris, well, the girls go to him like mice to cheese.

Me, well, I keep on the quiet side, listening to my iPod on the bus or looking at the sky, or thinking about my old friends in Japan.

If you're wondering what girls I talk to, I talk to Therese (in English and lunch), Erin (math, science, reading, and anywhere possible), Halie (we're just lab partners now), and Allie (I'm getting her to like me, okay?).

I just feel so wierd right now since I'm so alone with no girl by my side all the time, telling me how cute I am and stuff.

So, my final question is: Am I a wierd outsider due to my lack of a girlfriend?

OK..my son is 12 and I took him to his yearly check-up today, let me start by saying NORMALLY I love my kids doctor and the reason I love him is because he's old fashioned (not as far as treatments go, but with his "bedside manner), he's down to earth, straight forward, holds nothing back, BUT today I do believe he crossed the line. Like I said, my son is 12, he HATES shot's (who doesn't), he wasn't expecting one because I didn't know he was getting one, or I would have prepared him, so, when the doc. pulls out the needle my son gets teary eyed, he tells him to grow up, sticks him with the needle, my son pulls away, needle comes out, doc says "good, now you get stuck again" When its all said and done, my child is still crying, the doctor tells me, IN FRONT OF HIM, "better go buy him a dress mom, he's acting like a girl" and walks out! I was dumbfounded! I comforted my son, and walked out feeling like i was hit by a truck! What would you do? Help please.

ok im almost 14 yrs old and my dad left me and my mom when i was 8 yrs old one day he called and i was 11 yrs old and it was the next day after my birthday and he said how old i was i got so mad but w/e so when i turned 13 he didnt call and he didnt call to say merry christmas or happy new year. one day he said he was gonna call me the next day and he never called now my aunt called my mom to tell her that my dad wanted to talk to me.

Okay, I've always been a straight A student...never gotten a B on my reportcard in my life. I'm a freshman and I'm 14...so on my AP US History first semester, I got a 90% even... A. And my mom totally flipped and yelled at me and was like, "Why can't you be smarter like your sister? She got a 98% in this class last year! This is going to be on your GPA! You better get your butt in gear and bring this up to a 97 by the end of the year!"

I couldn't believe her! It's an AP course - ridiculously hard, and i got an A!! And it's my first year in highschool!!!! Now she's being way too overprotective and is always watching me, making sure I'm not doing other stuff when I'm supposed to be doing school! She thinks that I'm not studying! I'm trying hard and so far in the second sem. I have a 97%, but I am pretty much running out of fuse before I blow up! She made me promise to show her EVERY assignment before I turned it in...and then I have to show her EVERY graded assignment! What do you thin

apparently, while I was out babysitting a little while ago, my mom and brother(17) got into a huge fight, i don't know what happened, no one will tell me and my brother isn't home right now. Someone said spanking isn't abuse, so here's what happened to my son when he was with his father:

- he was hit daily (sometimes by a belt)
- he was sexually abused and raped twice
- he was locked into a closet by my current husband

If all that's not abuse I like I think it is, then why can't I get my custodty of my son back? N oh yeah he's 17

My son was 14 when he last lived with his dad and his dad used to hit him a lot and I never knew about it and I hit him once and I called him a slut and a few other things. He is 17 now and I really want his custodety, he lives with his 21 yr old friend and his grandmother (who sued for his custodety in the first place) lets him. He won't come live with me because my husband locked him in the closet once.

My parents [mostly my mom] assume EVERYTHING wrong about me. It's sickening. Ok, like 1 month ago I got a prgress report from school in the mail. I was failing two classes. Now, a month later, and closer to the end of the semester, I have a D in [math] and almost a B in my other class. To my mom, that's not good enough. She and everyone else in my family just assumes I "don't want to pass high school" [I'm in 10th]. I swear they've all formed a conspiracy against me being that all they say is "you need to try harder" when I do. I've actually changed my study habits quite a bit in that I'm doing my HW and actually getting passing grades on tests and paying attention in class. I'm actually very proud of myself that I have a D in math becuase though it's no A, I know that going from an F to a D is an improvement, is it not? I'm trying am I not? They don't see that. They just see ways to make that D into a C instead of aknowledging I'm doing better. I feel unpraised..

please help me, my fiancee got angry at me cuz i was late comming home. he was drunk and he started yelling at me and started beatibg me with the rolling pin, im fine now, the dr's asked what happened and i toldthem i had fallin down the stirs. i'm really scared and he doesnt know that i'm pregnant(i found out last week and i just dont know how to tell him) he's never yelled at me and has never hit me untill now and i really really love him, but i dont know what i should do. i'm really scared cuz friday is usually his drinking night and i dont know if hes gonna be mad at me for what ever reason. before he didnt drink he was so good to me never yelled never said bad things to me never hit me but now when he sees me crying cuz i'm scared he says "oh mami i'm sorry u no i luv u girl" or "mami im sorry i dont mean it and i'll stop hurting you" i know he is a really great guy and i no he does love me but i dont know how to deal with the beating, (hes hit me more than 1 time) wat shold i do

It seems my next door neighbor is leaving her daughter home alone frequently, and today she was left home "sick" all day 8am to almost 6pm. I think she's to young to go that long unsupervised (especially when she is calling me scared and hungry because her mom tells her not to bug her unless there's an emergency) Am I overly protective because I don't think she's ready for that kind of responsiblity?
