Does anyone know what would be the best way to find pregnant teens in need of a place to live? Im in Oregon and I take in one pregnant teen at a time and provide her and her baby with free long term room (her own room/nursery), board, guidance, medical insurance, transportation, and everything else. I also involve her in teen parenting groups, provide free child care while she goes to school, and counseling if needed. She gets one on one help.
I believe this is better for some, rather than a group home. My last mom just got her first apartment and Im have trouble filling her spot. Also I do this all out of my own pocket, I was a teen mom and I enjoy helping other teen moms.

Earlier today I had a BIG falling out with a very good friend. At this point it remains unresolved partly because she refuses to speak with me now. Her boyfriend took it upon himself to butt in and as a result he to is unwilling to deal with me. Here's the problem, their daughter just phoned me and asked if I could help her with a book report for school. In oder to help this 11 year old means, me going to her house then bringing her to mine (to use the printer).
Her mom has to know that she called me for help. This is where my dilema comes in. In the interest of time I've left out many details so if you think you need more in order to answer my question pls. let me know. I am leaning towards telling her no. Wording it is the problem. How does this sound?
I won't be able to help you this time. Your parents and I are not getting along so I don't feel comfortable going to your house.

My sister in law and brother are divorced, and because her mother went away for three months, I took her into my home. She goes to bed at 5 AM, chatting with her friends in the Internet. She does not sits next to me in the car, but in the back sit. Last week she went with a girl next door to the library at 5PM and didn't show at my home until 11 PM I had to call the police. When the police got here she told them she wants to go to a children's shelter, because her mother beats her up. She ran my brother's cell phone to 2000 minutes, he disconnected her phone and when was told the reason why she said; I did not asked to have a phone. 'She doesn't clean after herself, leaving everything for me to clean up. Here are my question, does she sounds like in drugs? She comes to the living room and changes the TV without askign if anyone else is watching, etc. She will be at my home for another 2 weeks, any ideas as to what to do, or why she behaves like this? I am afraid of my niece

Every night, I call my girlfriend (or she calls me) and we talk, but I also tell her a bedtime story to help her sleep. =)

We're both 16

We've only been doing this for about a week (the bedtime stories) but Im already out of ideas. If anyone has suggestions, let me know? Iinks to stories or summaries would be great.

I will begin mentoring a 13 year old girl later this week. I'm 23, so I'm kinda rusty on what 13 year olds are in to these days. Also, she's a special case because she was raped at 11 years old. Her mother wants me to try to help this young lady b/c she's expressing her anger in violent ways and dressing provocatively since the incident. I turned sixteen on the 1st, got a permit on the 23th and get a liscense on May 21st. My dad's going to get me a car and my mom said that i'll have a curfew. She also said that i can help decide one that works for me and for her. How old are you and what's your curfew on school nights and weekends?


Rite now, my curfew is when the bus stops at my house at 3, i need to get off of it and be in the house by 3:01.

My cousin (11 years old and male) wanted to see if he could set a record. He wants to see if he could set the record of having your feet tickled for the longest time. I told him he can't, because of the fact that someone who is not ticklish could say they are and last forever having their feet tickled. He refuses to admit he is wrong, but I do give it to him, he has really ticklish feet and can last a while. I can't even touch his socked feet without him giggling. He had his sister tickle his feet (with him wrapped in a blanket with his socked feet sticking out of one end) for 5 minutes and 32 seconds and he was in complete hysterics, his eyes were watering. I just want to know if the public can tell me how long their kids, cousins, or brothers can last having their feet tickled and how ticklish they are. my mom thinks that me and my other siblings are getting too fat but my brother is the only one that is fat. my mom is also on a diet where she barely eats so she thinks that the whole family should barely eat. today me and my siblings ate cereal for breakfast around 9 before we left for church and now it is around 3 and she wont let us eat anything cus we ate cereal in the morning. she says that we can only eat dinner which is around 8. my dad called from work telling my older sister to cook us noodles but my mom wont let her. im 12 and my siblings are 8, 7, 4, and 14. do you think she is right for doing that?

Terribly ugly? No girl is ugly, I mean everyone tells me I'm "super cute" or "model material" but I get paranoid and think they're lying. Do any of you girls feel the same? Like when we're at school and all the girls are crowding around the mirror trying to beautify themselves for guys (which aren't even that good looking!)
It makes me wistful and annoyed at the same time. So how do you guys cope with that feeling that you're a hopeless case and should just give up on looks?

Well me and my boyfriend have been going out for 1 year and 3 months, he has hurt me so much but i am still with him and i still care for him. he has hurt me so many ways like: ( Oh yeah and he is 23)

1. when we 2st started to talk he was talking to other girls but would tell me i was the only 1.

2. he convinced me not to tell his cousin my bestfriend that we were dating which caused many troubles with our friendship.

3. he cheated with me when we were together. with an older girl that went to my school
