Because some teens arent educated in birth control methods. All of the world does not necessarily have the same information you do. Some families dont even talk to their kids about how babies are conceived not to mention about birth control. Try some patience

Well let me tell you.....Did you ever think that MAYBE just maybe there are teens on here asking about pregnancy because their method had failed. Condoms can BREAK and there are antibiotics that screw up pills...Like penicillin will make the BC pills not work...( Trust me I know) Also, when teens first begin to TAKE birth control, often times it will fool the body into thinking that it's pregnant, so they have symptoms of pregnancy. ( A side effect that will affects SOME people.) And so, people ask the question..."Am I pregnant?" Because maybe they don't see the possibility that even with Birth Control, it can happen.

And to some teens it's just not being informed. For some families it is a "taboo" subject in the household. And also in some schools, sex education is only AVAILABLE with PARENTAL CONSENT!!! And those who see it as taboo, or for other reasons, do not allow kids to participate!!
Then you do have the small precentage of teens who just don't take the precautions. Maybe the BC wasn't available at the time. They got caught up in the moment..( like some ADULTS can do as well) and so, they end up pregnant. And that's that!

Some teens who do use condoms or birth control still get pregnant. Look at the statistics.

If you truly want to DO something instead of just complaining--why not volunteer at a pregnancy crisis center like planned parenthood or just a local clinic?

I have never asked if I am pregnant. It's simple to take a pregnancy test--believe it or not there are many middle aged women who ask these questions--it's not just teens.

Whenever I had asked, I am on birth control but i'm also taking pills that can "kill" the birth control. And I never knew that could happen, my doctors never told me. Now I know and i'm taking more precautions against it.
