My pre-schooler wants to be a rocket ship for halloween. I won't let him change his mind, don't worry, I know it's early. I am picturing something made with white vinyl and black duct or electrical tape. I thought Family Fun had one, but they don't. Any links or ideas?

The reason I ask that each pills contains 200mg of folic asid, and they recomend take 4 pills every day. But prenatal vitamins already containes high amount of folic asid, and I am wondering if there can be any overdose.

It was a yellowish snotty thing that was on the toilet paper when I wiped. It wasn't large, just about the size of my fingertip (so I think it may have just been a piece of it). I am 37 weeks and I am 1cm dilated. Do you think delivery is soon???

Should I wait until cd 21 to take provera just in case i ovulated late?If i wait untill to take provera at cd 21,will period still come on cd 28 as suppose to.Usually i take provera from cd 14-28 but it stopped me from ovulating when taken at cd 14.

I think that if you have children, one of the parents should stay home until they are old enough to be in school. I think if you PLAN it like you should, you should have enough money to live off one income. I don't believe in day care, if you want to be a parent, then stay home and PARENT. I don't think it's right to have someone else raise your children. Don't have children unless you can afford to. My boyfriends mom called me a "freeloader" because I mentioned that when I have kids I want to stay home with them. I mean I have a full-time job now and have for 10 years. My boyfriend agrees with his mom that stay-at-home moms are freeloaders just looking for a free ride. Who is right?

My husband and I have decided we want to have a child. But first we would like to buy a new car. (Mine is old and unreliable... with no a/c. I would hate for my car to break down on the highway with a new born!) The car that we are in LOVE with is a two-door, so I guess my question is should we get the car that we really want, or a four-door car to save ourselves the hassle of getting the car seat in and out of the back? Ok, so I figured this may sound like a stupid question, but I'm asking anyway lol. This is my first baby-bear with me yall- please. I wanted to know what do people bring their babies home in? My baby boy will arrive in the fall so I was wondering what did you all bring your fall babies home in? I never really saw a newborn in a fall jacket- just all wrapped up in blankets and hat of course.?. Please share with me what you all did.

My dad owns his own business building custom woodwork for sculptures. I used to work with him sanding the bases for the sculptures and suddenly I find myself needing to make a quick buck. The problem is I also just found out I am six weeks pregnant. I was told that walnut dust is toxic and most of what he uses is walnut. Is there any way I would safely be able to do any sanding for him (e.g a dust mask, sanding outdoors...)?

I have recently began working again and I am pumping breastmilk 2-3 times a day during my 9 hour shift. My question is what is the best way to clean the pump until I get home? I have the Medela wipes, but when I use them, the pump seems very "sudsy". The directions told me there was no need to rinse after? I don't have access to a clean sink where I can thoroughly wash it, or to a microwave so I can use the bags. And what happens if the pump is not cleaned good enough? How will I know?

My baby is only 4 months but she constatntly sticks her hands in her mouth. Last week she cried so much that I got scared and took her to the doctor and he said she was perfectly fine. I know its not colic. So does this mean that she could be teething? She does not have a faver or any sign of teething. What is it?

period dates:
May 27th..
June 27th..
July 26th...

so after my july period we decided to try again.. we had sex on the day of ovulation.. now my period was due last friday (aug 24th) so i took a test 2 days before that.. n it was negative.. then i felt as if its coming... "that damp feeling i always get before the day my period starts" but then no period showed up.. i tested again on friday morning (day my period was due)
still negative.. i know that it should show by now if i was.. b.c those tests work on the first day of a missed period.. i know this month may not of worked for me.. but why the delay in my period? its always regular.. n the thing is right after i get that damp feelin its suppose to start.. now i feel nothing at all.. n im not even thinkin im preg after seein the test.. what else can it be?

I amd 5' 7" tall with medium body. My weight before pregnancy used be around
148 lbs and now it's 157 lbs, still my belly is not showing a lot. Offcourse it's grown alittle but I can still hide it easily.

I am also not feeling my baby movement prominently. I felt very light tap in my lower abdominal part a few times and that's it. When should I really expect those wonderful baby kicks that I am waiting for....?

Plesae guide me, as I am very worried ...

The hard part is that my son lives in Washington State with his mom, and I live in New Mexico. Recently my ex wife broke up with another jerk boyfriend that didn't respect her. According to her my son thinks that since other men don't respect her that he doesn't have to either.

To a certain extent she brings this upon herself, but that's not the point. I agree with her that he needs to learn to respect women and treat them proprerly, especially his mom. I'm working on a plan to be able to spend more time with him, but in the mean time what should I do?

this happened to you?
She ran a fever all weekend. Her fever was 102.1 this morning. I took her to the doctor and he couldn't find anything.
I thought it was an ear infection but he said it wasn't. She doesn't have a cold or anything. He gave her a prescription for an antibiotic just in case there was an underlying problem.
Could teething make her temp go that high? We are so worried. Any prayers would be appreciated.

I am 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. I chose to procede with this pregnancy rather than abort, but now I don't know what to do.
Right now I am very unsure of myself as far as being able to provide the kind of lifestyle I wish for any more children. I feel I'm a good mom to my two year old daughter, but fear with another child I will be restricting not only her opportunities in life, but also for the one to come. I plan to go to college to increase my chances of earning a higher income, but I feel with a new baby I will not have the patience and put it off even longer.

I tossed the idea of adoption around in my head for several weeks, with the person in mind who I'd like to adopt this child. She cannot personally have children so she gladly accepted when I asked (of course with some apprehension).

When I asked her if she'd adopt this baby I was so sure that it was the best thing to do for everyone involved, but now I'm scared out of my mind. I don't want anyone to
