I amd 5' 7" tall with medium body. My weight before pregnancy used be around
148 lbs and now it's 157 lbs, still my belly is not showing a lot. Offcourse it's grown alittle but I can still hide it easily.
I am also not feeling my baby movement prominently. I felt very light tap in my lower abdominal part a few times and that's it. When should I really expect those wonderful baby kicks that I am waiting for....?
Plesae guide me, as I am very worried ...
Thanks

Hi,
For a few days now I have started feeling like twitches in my lower abdominal area on right side and some times in middle. Most of the time it feels at the same place. It's feels like twitch or kinda like a little mice just tumbled a little.
Also. I feel it almost the same time in a day. In morning when I eat something and at night when I am watchi ng TV after dinner or so...
Do you think that's my baby's movements?
Is it really so that when we eat it makes the baby to move? Do you know how would eating affect the little baby?
Thanks you all for answering my question...
Good luck to all moms to be... :)

I was about your size when I got pregnant, and I really didn't show until my 6th month. I didn't think I was every going to, but then when I did, boy oh boy did I ever show. My daughter did the same thing. She's 5'7 and only weighed about 127 when she got pregnant the first time. She didn't show at all until her 21st week or so. people were so jealous of her, but with her second one, she was showing by the time she was in her 8th week.....just a little, but it was there. Don't be concerned about not feeling the baby all the time, my daughters first baby was very active, but her second one wasn't. But if you're too concerned, then contact your doctor. Take care and good luck!

I don't think I really noticed my babies movements until I was well over 22 weeks. I would feel the odd bubble or flutter before that. This is my first pregnancy so I didn't know what to expect or whether that was the baby moving or not. It's amazing how strong the baby gets as the days pass. I'm 33 weeks now and my baby packs a punch, straight to the rib cage, lol. It's a relief though, at least he's active. You'll start to know the difference, trust me.

You are feeling your baby!! Down almost to your bladder, you feel what feels like a brush of a butterfly wing. That's your baby.
You're gaining weight just fine, and some people don't show until 26 weeks or so.
Babies like to play when we are trying to rest. The rest of the day, we're walking around, and that rocks baby to sleep. But when we stop, that means it's play time. So the most common time for you to feel your baby kick is when you're watching TV or sleeping.
Congratulations!!

I didn't start feeling my baby move until about 22-24 weeks, I also started to show more around my 6 month mark. now I'm growing out more and more everyday. And he doesn't stop moving all day..I think he is going to be some kind of track star.LOL
It will all come in due time, just remember to watch what you wish for.
The kicking keeps me up at night, and can be uncomfortable when your trying to relax and he goes from one side to the other.

im 17 weeks and have felt movement (not kicks)but you should feel something before 22 weeks
Veteran moms tend to notice those first subtle kicks — also known as "quickening" — earlier than first-time moms. (A woman who's been pregnant before can more easily distinguish her baby's kick from other belly rumblings, such as gas.)
Your build may also have something to do with when you'll be able to tell a left jab from a hunger pang. Thinner women tend to feel movement earlier and more often than women who carry more weight.
Women have described the sensation as being like popcorn popping, a goldfish swimming around, or butterflies fluttering. You'll probably chalk up those first gentle taps or swishes in your belly to gas or hunger pains, but once you start feeling them more regularly, you'll recognize the difference. You're more likely to feel these early movements when you're sitting or lying quietly.

I am 30 weeks and didn't feel gigantic movements until a few days ago. You will notice an increase in strength pretty soon. I know that my baby's kicks have increased with time. It may seem like it is taking forever but it is right around the corner.

Some people don't feel movement until after 20 weeks, or the movements are so light, they don't notice them. Eat something sweet, and then lay down and see if that makes a difference. If you lay flay on your back, you may be able to feel it better, and the sugar will get that baby moving! Congratulations on the baby and good luck!
