Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 August 2007

At least this is what my doctor told me after I had my daughter. He said use protection EVERY time because I am really fertile. Why is this? After I had my son (11 weeks ago), I never went in to see my doc at the 6 week check up because we moved when he was 5 weeks and I don't have a new doc yet. I breastfed for 9 weeks and am just waiting on my period. I'm a little nervous as me and my husband had an "accident." Well I should say HE had the accident and I told him we can never let that happen again. Well, it happened again gosh darn it!
So obviously, we are using pull out method right now as I haven't been to the doc yet and I am allergic to the lubricant on condoms.
I'm nauseous, have had headaches for the last couple of days, breasts are slightly tender, I'm STARVING, and although I've started a workout routine of running 1/2 hour for 3 days a week, I have gained 2 pounds! Do you think these could be symptoms on my impending period or do you think I could be pregnant?

So my period has been way to wack for me to understand. I had my period at the end of july begining of august, which in my understandment was for in august(knowing i already had it in july at the begining of the month) and then i had my period AGAIN in august about the middle of the month! Whats wrong with me, ive never had it before like this and this is the first month its been crazy. I have been having unprotected sex. Could it be normal or could i be pregnant? whats going on? anyone know. By the way I would go to the doctors but i dont have any insurance yet. HELP!

hi,
iam trying to conceive for the past 5 months.this month i used the clear blue digital opk.it showed me the happy face(ie ovulation )for 2 days.due to circumstances i was able to have sex one only one of those days.do i still stand a chance to conceive this month?

My husband and I are talking about a small road trip to visit family after our baby is born. Nothing too long, maybe just a long weekend. We are thinking about taking the trip when the baby is around 2 months. I've heard that while the baby is still young is a good time to take a small road trip, because the driving can help put them to sleep. Opinions on this?

I was wondering if anyone else has done this and tell me about your experience.

My last period was Aug.3-6. I should have ovulated on the 17th. Me and my b/f BD 4 days prior and 2 days after. I am now 10dpo and took a hpt it was neg. I am experiencing pregnancy symptoms.We have been trying to concieve for the last 5 months. Was it to early to test? Should i wait until i miss my period expected on the 31st?

Can you adopt someone from the Philipines in Canada? My cousin have a mom but she died and she wants a mom so my mom will adopt her next year but can my mom apodt her? My mom is planning to go to the Philipines next year to adopt her but i want her to adopt her in where we live and i want to go with her but im scared of planes crashing and u die and stuff and its really hot there and i might faint or something and they have thunderstorms everyday in the summer. so it is better to apodt my cosin in Canada or the Philipines? (My cousin have a dad too and hes alive but i dont know about her dad and my mom thinks my cousin, Grace is 13 years old i was wishing she is younger lol.)

At what age does it become a bit more difficult to conceive? I'm 20, i don't want a baby just yet, but reading the "trying to conceive" questions kinda makes me worry about when i will try to, it seems like its really difficult, and you have to track your ovulation days and so on and so on...i see so many girls my age popping up pregnant like crazy! and i doubt they had to track this and that and whatever... Sooo, I was just wondering if its always so difficult to get pregnant?

Does anyone else feel like the 9th month just drags on and on and on? This is my second child and I felt that way with my first so I decided to do that math.
A pregnancy is supposed to be 40 weeks. There are four weeks in a month and a pregnancy is supposed to last nine months.
Okay... well... what's four times 9? = 36. So if a pregnancy were really nine months we'd all hit our due dates at 36 weeks.
What's four times 10? = 40. 40 weeks equals ten months.
So is a pregnancy really 10 months or what?!?!

There was a site posted the other day that I thought was interesting, but I didn't bookmark it. My hubby has rigged the computer so the history from the previous day doesn't show. There are probably are a thousand sites just like it, and I'm sure one of those would work just as well. The site had a box to enter the first day of your last period as well as a box to enter your cycle length. When you hit the calculate button, it calculated you approximate fertile period, ovulation day, and possible due date. It was an interesting site. Anyone have any clue what it is called or know others like it???

I have pretty regular periods. 28 day cycles, so how do i know when i ovulate? For example..i got my period on Aug. 14th...And id there really only like a 3 day window where you can get pregnant?

i recently started taking clomid after my periods as im suppose to, to try to start ovulation, so my husband and I can get pregnant. is it normal to get dizzy after taking it, even if i havent took it in like 2 weeks? ive been getting dizzy almost everyday after i stopped taking it.

I received a call from my sons school today informing me my son was in an incident, OMG, i thought, what now?? The counselor then explained that he took another classmates pencil and was using it. OH! i thought, big deal. A couple of hours later, I received another call, this time from a police officer informing me of the SAME situation, this time they want to question my son!!!!!!!!!????????? What the hell! I told her NO! It turns out, it is called bullying! Last time I recalled, it was barrowing or teasing. Is this necessary?

My husband and I had sex 2 days before my LH Surge. I pinpointed my surge in the evening on the Friday (Aug 24th) and we had sex again. We took one day break and had sex again on the 26th (which I believe i ovulated since i analyzed my mucus and usually get little cramps when i ovulate each month). Do we have sex again tonight or wait until tomorrow? or do we just wait it out? Did I maximize my chances?

1st one I took (9 dpo) had a very, very faint line. Did not see a pink line but I saw the shaddow of one. 2nd one I took same day I didn't see a faint line.
Now remember, these test are a year expired but I thought I would try since I had them. I am going to get more test... question is... Do I test again today at 10dpo and will I get the same results or wait? So hard to wait and I know I will if you all tell me too. But would I see a difference in 9 dpo to 10 dpo?

im 38 weeks and 4 days preg. my due date is sept.6 and has been determined on 3 ultrasounds well i have irregular periods so when i went to the doc the very first time i had to take a guess for my last period well they came up with a due date 9-24 all 3 ultrasounds say sept.6 2 of them due and 1 says sept. 1st well i go today for my weekly visit and they get all my delivery papers ready for me to sign and the nurse said i need an appt for 1 week and then she says i need to bring you back on my delivery date so she made me an appt. for sept.6 then i said well how far along do yall have me then she says 36 weeks cause were now going by 9-24 and that cant be correct why do you think they would do that any suggestions would help im so agrevated with all this mess

I wanted to know if other women have expereinced similar symptoms as me. I noticed after a month of my first dose I have been getting constant headaches and one possibly a migrained that lasted a few days. I also had lots of spotting every now and then. It is like being on your period all the time you never know when your going to spot. When your on your period you only bleed for a week and this one feels like it's constantly coming. What other symptoms have you women had? What are you thoughts about this? Good or bad for our bodies? Let me know..I'm thinking of getting off of it and swtiching to the patch (what I've used in the past). What do you all think? Thanks!
