My husband and I had sex 2 days before my LH Surge. I pinpointed my surge in the evening on the Friday (Aug 24th) and we had sex again. We took one day break and had sex again on the 26th (which I believe i ovulated since i analyzed my mucus and usually get little cramps when i ovulate each month). Do we have sex again tonight or wait until tomorrow? or do we just wait it out? Did I maximize my chances?
Thanks for all the pointers and advice you have all given me...you have educated me alot.

I have been elevating my pelvis for 20-25 min after each time. This is my second month "trying"....Thanks for all your positivity as well :)

Go ahead and BD tonight just to be sure. But it sounds like you timed it right.
As for the first poster saying to wait 1 week before ovulation, DON'T do this. If you wait too long between ejaculations a mans sperm count actually goes down and the sperm are old and can't swim as good. Every other day is optimal but don't go longer than 5 days.

I would have sex a little more during my fertile time though. Your fertile time is 3 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the day after ovulation.
For you on this cycle that meant... Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon.

Do it again, don't wait. It's not like you'd be wasting spermies because you already ovulated. The egg can live for 24 hours, might as well give it one more shot of swimmers! Good luck, I hope you were successful!!! ;)

How long have you been trying?
If it were me I would be having sex tonight to make sure it happens...cant hurt!
Also I am not sure if anyone else told you this but dont get up right away after sex...lay down with your pelivs elevated.

If your husband can hack it, then do both! that way you wont be second guessing yourself, these things happen when its supposed to happen, my mom and dad tryed despertly to have me for 6 years! They finaly quit trying and gave up, soon after, I was born! I think when you try to hard it add's to peoples stress level's and makes it harder to concieve, and sometimes I think it is just ment to happen when it happens, (if that makes any sense!) Any way I wish you both good luck, and hope you will be holding your precious daughter/son sometime soon!

You should have sex first thing in the morning. It is good to let the sperm build up. Also, if you dont get pregnant this time around the next month that comes up you shouldnt have sex 1 week before you ovaluate.
