Not right now, but much later down the road I'd like to have children. Preferably after I'm married and settled in and knowingly can afford to start a family. Unlike some of my friends who have 4 kids, and unstable lives.

I've been on Birth Control for 3 years, given that...how long after being off birth control will it take to get pregnant?

Will my breast milk contain everything my baby needs even if I don't eat as well as I did when I was pregnant? For example, I don't eat as many veggies and fruit now that I'm not pregnant. Am I robbing my baby of good nutrition, or is my breast milk good enough irregardless of what I eat?

my little boy is 8 weeks old and today he has been vomiting quite a bit after his bottles the first time is happened was toda at 1pm and it seemed to be the hole bottle he vomited back up the the next one after that he vomited but it was olny a tiny bit then he had another at 6pm and seemed to vomit all that bottle up and he has just had his bed time one now and was sick a little bit after i gave him half the bottle the he finished and i put him to bed so far so go no vomit but if he vomits this one back up schould i start to worry hes not gettin enough? i checked his temp and that was 37.7 with i know is a lttle high but im putting that down to the hot weather or should i get medical advice?

Also, what is the difference in putting rice cereal in a bottle and giving the Enfamil AR formula. They both look the same. I think it is just a way for you to have to pay more for formula? I have my son on the Enfamil AR for spitting up per the doctor so why can't I just add rice cereal to the formula instead?

I don't want to hear about how you shouldn't put rice cereal in the bottle - We all grew up with it in our bottle from the time we got home from the hospital when we were kids - we are all just fine. SO please don't answer if you are going to be negative!!

I have had PCOS since my sophomore year in highschool.. they put me on the birth control pill, AND metformin. I also have an inderactive thyroid, so I'm taking medicine for that, long story short, I'm taking about six pills a day and am worried about the effect that is having on me.. how can I tell if the medicine is really working? Bloodwork at the doctors office? I am about to get married and would LOVE to have children within a year or two, does anyone know a way to basically check if I can have children?

My 21 month old daughter wakes up between 5.30 and 5.45 every morning. She goes to bed between 7.15 and 7.45pm.

There is a blackout blind and curtains with fairly thick lining at the window in her room.

She generally has 1 nap per day which lasts about 40 minutes. She is a happy, active, placid and loving child.

When she wakes up in the mornings, she won't stay in her cot and play with toys or books - she wants company (mine!)

Anyone got any suggestions how I can get her to sleep a bit longer in the mornings? Even sleeping until 6.30am would be a luxury for me!

freind is trying to conceive her period ended today she told me and when would be the best time to have sex..? i told her about the ovulation calculator and her period started aug 10 and ended today and the calculato r said she would be most fertial on the 21 to the 20 sumthing i forget do u think that is right? and her cycle is about a 28 day one.
so she shuld be haveing se x on the 21 right..?

I could of swore i was pregnant had the sypmtoms was 1 week and 5 days late..and today i have gotten my period? or so i think..It was a regular period flow this morning and now i'm barely bleeding..i cant use anything you normally could for a period.I also have cramps..Could my period been just late or is it possible i might still be pregnant and just bleeding? I'm able to cope with any of the two.... has any of u had early pregnancy bleeding with cramps and have been fine just wanna know?
Here were my sypmtoms:
Sore nipples on and off for 2 weeks
headaches
backaches
increased discharge ( it was clear and watery and then sometimes thicker)
the late period..(But now here?)
Had period like cramps for what seemed like 2 1/2 weeks..
Tired all the time (exspecially at work) around noonish i always got really queasy and at night it came around the same time every day for the last week...

My 18 month old daughter snatches and steals stuff from other kids and me! I've given her time outs and told her that its wrong. She's said "Okay" and then goes and does it again! The other day we were in Starbucks and she was wearing a baseball cap,I put her on the counter for one minute while I made a call and she put a tin of mints under her hat and I didn't find them until we got home! I went back and paid for them and then made her go to bed after dinner and she was mad. Today she snatched a pull toy away from her 8 week old sister and after I told her it was time for a time out, she started to cry and wouldn't stop crying until it was over. What should I do about her snatching and stealing problems? I don't want her to grow up to be a thief!

I plan on staying home with my child until he is 4 years old. I don't like the idea of childcare. Thats my personal opinion, and I'm not criticizing other people's choices. My boyfriend makes $5000 a month - after taxes. Do you personally think this will be ok? I think it will be plenty since rent runs around $1100-$1300 in this city. I kind of feel guilty for wanting to stay home with my child but I think he can support us on this income. Do you think that we'll be alright? It's just my mother is putting all this pressure on my to go back to work right away and making me feel like it would be a bad thing to stay home with the baby. I am just wondering what you guys think. Thanks!

My 8 year old son is no longer satisfied with "when a man and a woman love each other, God sends a baby to grow in the mommy's belly" I have 2 younger children and he is fully aware that they grew in my belly and that the doctor had to cut my belly to get them out when they were ready to be born. (c-section) but now he wants to know the specifics.... when, how and all that.... how should I explain the process in an age appropriate manner.... I'm afraid he'll learn about it at school before I can explain it to him.

My daughter who has always whined, when she was either wet, dirty diapered, hungry or tired has recently started to whine all the time. I check all the usual suspects and thought once they were all taken cared of she would stop, but she isnt. Is this common for children her age to do this? If so, how do you keep your sanity and not let it bother you so much??

Ultrasound said from the babys measurements that i was only 26-28 weeks but i am positive that my LMP was in dec. 2006 so i am 34 weeks...really confused and wondering is the baby just measuring small or what...thank you for your advice.

My MIL is throwing me a baby shower, well she's acting like she is. Her way of throwing the baby shower is by buying decorations and saying "oh we can decorate with this" but not actually planning anything. So i've taken on the role of coming up with all of the ideas and she's taking my ideas for her own and buying the supplies. Well i am going to have girls from the age of 18 all the way to older women in their 70's. I came up with the idea of buying a bunch of onesies(99 cents) and having a bunch of iron on designs and fabric paint so everyone can design a personalized onesie. Also my mom and MIL will decorate a bib that is dedicated to eachother and i will be making an overnight/diaper bag that both grandma's will use. Do you think this is an ok idea? I don't like the idea of corny games and i'm just wondering if everyone will find this entertaining... in your opinion.
There will be more to the shower but this is the "main event".
