What are some good foods to eat to help in milk lactaion?

I am currently taking the herbal pill "fenugreek" and drinking "organic mothers milk tea" to help in good milk lactation but it seems I can't keep a good healthy FULL flow.

Or, is it normal for boobs to look as they did before pregnancy after breastfeeding has begun?

I've been hearing that through this stage they should be forming short sentences. He understands when to sit down and he babbles when he does try to communicate. Should I wait to see what happens in the next couple of months to see if this improves? He does have a doctor appt coming up next week, but I just wanted to know what other parents go through during this stage.

I've breastfed both my children and this has never happened.
Yesterday...I woke up very swollen and tender on one side...It hurts to lay on my stomach..Like I'm laying on a bag of marbels...Should I use hot/cold compress to make the swelling go down...?

I love babies and I love kids and I believe in the santicity of life but do you feel that there are some woman out there that should not be mothers?

I am sure you heard on the news about Andrea Yates who had 5 beatuiful children and drowned them one by one in the bathtub because the devil told her too?

Why did she not get help? In light of what I just shared do you think there are woman that should never get pregnant in the first place?

I was for financial and medical reasons advised never to conceive and my husband and I made a councious choice with sugery not to have kids, I trust God he knows what is best.

Do you also feel that there are ladies giving birth but are not truly mothers? I once said to my mom anyone can be a mother but it takes someone speical to be a mommy?

What is your take on this?

thats 3 weeks old do you think that woman got pregnant on purpose, especially with a man that she has known for at least 8 years ,but really not conversate until 2 years later. Someone told me that her and her family do not believe in birth control but how all of the sudden she get pregnant seventeen years later. If this woman does not believe in birth control why have she have not had other kids until know? So what do you think?

PRAY FOR BABY KALEB ~~ KEEP THIS MOVING!


Kristy Reynolds and her husband are parents to a beautiful little baby boy named Kaleb. He is 6 months and 3 days old. A couple weeks ago Kristy picked Kaleb up from home care and noticed something was wrong. She immediately took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome. He now has meningitis in response the the surgeries on his brain, his body can't regulate his temperature, his heart rate drops every time he is moved, and he has seizures. He is also blind. His sitter shook him so hard that he is in a coma, had to have spinal fluid drained from his brain, and doctors think that if he lives he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life. Brain scans show that his brain tissue is dying and his brain is shrinking. Kristy and her husband refuse this diagnosis and pray for their little boy. I'm asking you to join them in this prayer for Kaleb.

my son is 2 months, he eats, plays then sleeps, only for 45 min's though.. he usually sleeps in his crib, with me, or his carseat.

My ex and I have joint custody of our children. My 2 1/2 year old is the only one we have problems with. The other two children are handling it well. We both have decided to have the same rules, same bedtime, ect......nothing has changed exept for we both are living in different houses.
My toddler is throwing extreme fits. She always wants her way, I have never spoiled her myself. She is angry. Bites, pulls hair n screams just to get her way or attention. She will do things outright rotten, like sneak in the bathroom n dump out the shampoo for attention. This week she has also refused nap time, which I feel she needs.
I know this is the time for the terrible two's. But this is just enough. Neither of my older two children are this bad.
Anyone who has had experience, and made it through can you give me some advice or words of wisdom. I am at wits end here.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has had any problems/issues with a Bumbo. At first, I LOVED my Bumbo...my baby could sit in it with me in the kitchen, or outside for photos, etc.

Well...one day, I sat her in her Bumbo that I had placed inside of her playpen. I went out to the mailbox, and when I came back she had gotten out of it somehow. I thought...okay...maybe she was able to wiggle out by pushing against the side of the playpen with her feet.

Then...last night I had her in her Bumbo on the kitchen floor (safest place is the floor...) and I went to get something out of the fridge. In the two seconds I looked away, she managed to get out of it and was laying face down on my ceramic tile floor.

Needless to say, I wanted to burn the damn thing in the fireplace, but I put it out in the trash and it is now at the local landfill.

Has anybody else had problems????

My friend recently took a 1st reponse pregnancy test and one line came out perfect (it was red) but the other line came out just enough that you can see it, but not as bright as the red one.

today i looked away for a second abd my 3 years old came up to my 9 week old and put his hand on the baby's forehead and started to push and pull his hand so the baby's head went from left to right really fast....it was only for a second...do you think this could have given him brain damage?

I am bigger now than I was when I was pregnant. I've tried Curves, YMCA, and even walking but nothing seems to help. I am 5'11 and 200 lbs. I was 147 pre-pregnancy. Any and all advice is welcome.

after my appointment with the midwifes recently they check see if the babys head is engaged down there is it normal 2 feel alot of pressure which is sore for the rest of the day? i have had lower joint problems recently with my hips which is soon 2 gettin dealt with but mainly is that normal 2 feel that much pain his head is not fullly locked yet he can still move freely and i am nearly 30weeks

I've been using these tests for a few days now and the result line comes out very faint, which I know is a negative result, since the directions say the result line needs to be the color of the control line or darker to be positive. Well today the result line came out just a little bit lighter than the control line, not even one shade lighter, which is much darker than the faint lines I usually get. Does this mean that I'm about to have the LH surger, or would you count this as a positive result? Thank you.

I have not dilated any, baby is down, I am having period like craps, lots of swelling in my feet and I am very tired. My blood pressure is perfect and the baby is very big and healthy. I am a very small person and I am finding it harder and harder to move or do anything. PLEASE offer me some advise or ANYTHING.. i know that 3 weeks is not long but I would LOVE to help my lil man in the process. He seems to love being in me!! I want my baby OUT..

I have let my son go to a summer rec program and there are kids there from kindergarten to age 15. The older kids are picking on my son and calling him fat. I will admit that he is overweight and we are working on it, but the teenagers are not helping by doing this. I want to punch the teens, but as we all know that won't help. My son can't fight them either. How can I help him to stand up for himself without getting in a fight or worse and how can I help him to get past hte stupid insecurities these kids are giving him?

This is for men and women. Have you decided that you do not children? If so, on what did you base your decision?

I am in my mid 30's and have never had any interest in children. People tell me I'll change my mind, but I just don't see it happening at this point.

I have heard the argument that children are "future generations" and that the Bible tells us to be fruitful and multiply, but I would like to hear something new. Perhaps you feel society places too much importance on children, or it is a financial decision?
