I really don't understand the whole''period before a pregnancy'' term?what does this mean and how then do you even knoe whether your pregnant or not when most think a period means no pregnancy how do you tell or really know with out a pregnancy test?do u just wait to see if a period comes next month?

i won't do anything until i'm 37 weeks and full term so don't worry! i'm curious, though- i know all the old wives tales to help progress labor (sex, spicy foods, walking, etc.) but i just had a doc appointment and they told me i was not dialated at ALL (my first son was born at 38 weeks and i was dilated 1 cm by 35 weeks with him) so this baby won't come for at least 2 more weeks most likely. is there a way to actually BRING ON the dilation of the cervix? just curious- i'm not an idiot trying to induce early labor (:

I swear he is in there for like 5 minutes. He says he washes his hair and body. I can smell the shampoo (L'oreal Kids stuff) but he isn't in there for long at all! He is 7. he is my boyfriend's son so i'm not exactly used to this. Should I still be helping him? I feel he can do it on his own, but maybe not?

I had a baby 8 days ago and still no breast milk i've bond my breast up with a ace bandage to help it stop.They have got soft again and back to normal.And ive only notice a lil milk here and there. Should i expect that theres not going to be much more then that? Is it safe to stop wearing the bandage now?Thanks

My daughter (22 months) sleeps in a cot but has started to climb out of her sleeping bag (she stands on the bottom of it and "pops" the shoulder poppers then shimmies out). She is very restless when sleeping so, with a sheet and blanket, she ends up uncovered and sometimes (even though the weather is warming up) gets cold and wakes up. She hasn't started even trying to climb out of the cot yet, though.
What made you decide it was time to make the big change?

Please only answer if you have been in a similar situation. I went for my first prenatal visit today. They did a drug screening on me, and I worried. I was around a friend the other day who uses drugs,(wont be happening again) and she was smoking meth. Is there anyway I will show positive for this and if yes will they take my baby??

thank you to everyone that let me knwo about the adaption thing with my husbands sisters baby. we still have alot to talk about. but i was wondering can we get rights signed over to us, before she has the baby cause other wise we are afraid she is going to wanna keep it. and she is not fit to have another baby right now. do we have to have rights from the dad cause he is like telling her she hast to have an abortion.

My husband and I have been married for 6 months. I'm 30 and he's 7 1/2 years older than I am. He has 2 kids and so do I. I want us to have one together, for many reasons, the main ones being that I want to have *his* baby and I simply want another child. However, he already has 2 girls and I have one of each. Neither of us really wants another girl lol. However, it's keeping us from really trying for a baby, because we are afraid it will be another girl. We both desperately want another boy. Please help me figure out how to change our minds about this. I'd LOVE another son, but it seems like if we had a baby girl, it'd be....sighs.....another girl? Please don't bash me or tell me how ungrateful I am or how selfish I'm being because I have already thought about all of that. Yes, we would most want the baby to be healthy, but have any of you felt the way that we are now? What did you do about it?

almost a year ago he was sitting on the potty well, losing intrest in his binki, blanky, and bottle.....actually used them only in bed. Then we lost our house to a fire....his blanket was with us and noone was home....he regressed deeply. Our Daughter was 8 and went through counsling and seems to be fine now. we then where tossed around for a while moving ever couple of months....moved states twice....things have been in a very heavy state of upheavle sence. he is using the potty all the time, and has completely gotten rid of his bottle. But the blanket has to go EVERYWHERE with us, and his binki too....it's even a huge fight to wash the blanket, can get him to leave them in the car once in a while but, not often and never at the house with out us. Should I be pushing this or just continue to ride it out?

My Aunt Susie is adopting a little girl from China. She comes home in four weeks. Her new name will be Nichole. Her two older sisters, Hannah (Hanny Bananny) and Stephanie (Stephers) have nicknames but Nichole doesn't. I DO NOT want to call her Nicky, Nickalodean, or Nick. Any good nicknames?

Hello, I'm Ella. I'm 8 months pregnant with twin girls, and already have 3 girlies! Charianna Rose is 5 y/o and will be in K-5 next year. Danielle Elizabeth is 2 but will turn 3 next month, she will be in K-3 next year. Caroline Scarlett (goes by Scarlett) is 9 almost 10 months old and will be in the nursery in the fall! Anyway, the kids are going to go to a one-week bible school next week and they have half-day or full-day. I want all of the kids to go, but they will all be in different groups, because of ages. So should I just let them go half-day or should they go full-day and make new friends? Half day is from 8 in the morning til 12:30 in the afternoon, while full-day is from 8 in the morning til 4:15 in the afternoon. Should I split them up? What would you do? Thanks in advance. ~Ella~

Please help me this is getting really fusstating my daugter is jsut about 8 months old she will not he sloids she wont she will hold her lip tightly shut and shake her head back and forth!!
