Hmm, i can see why this is a difficult question. What you have to do is face the facts..ur daughter is growing up. A 14 year old girl who is heading into high school in a few months definitley needs to know about the things that will come later on. And personally, i think its way better for her mother to be the person to show her that kind of stuff. Soo, yeah you should sit with her and let her see the magazine...that's gonna be sooo awkward!! lol

Are you kidding? Girls don't do "sleepovers" with their boyfriends until adult, at least 18. Need to think long and hard about allowing her to get her own way, versus being a responsible parent. Letting your daughter sleep over with her boyfriend, even if nothing did happen, is irresponsible on your part. First, she would get a reputation at school as likely being "easy" which isn't really a good thing. 2nd, she may push the boundaries even further and further. You need to tighten the reins. The concept of her even considering a sleepover should not have come up at 14 or 16 or 17. Be a mother, not a best friend.

I am that 14 year old girl's Grandmother...I believe that if you hide "dirty little things" like that magazine it becomes more of a challenge for her to want to see it. I know this 14 year old and she is not a scum dummy......she is aware that life is happening in different ways for different people. I say this to my daughter.,,,,"Had you called me on the phone and asked me I would tell you .......YES! But, only after you give her an overview on why men like to look at that stuff. Explain to her about men and their fantasies....let her see what is in that mag....and then tell her it is for men not women. But, you need to KILL OFF that curiosity that is lurking behind every 14 years mind. At 14; I knew about sex and stuff back in the 60's......why wouldn't she know about it? This way you and she can have a Mother /Daughter discussion and you can as honestly as you can; answer her questions. Most kids don't want all the minute details.....just an overview."

i personally think u shouldnt...playboy magazines give off the imagine of the "perfect woman." many young girls suffer with how they look because they want to be perfect...what if ur daughter sees that and then thinks that type of body is all the men want?? she will want to change her body to look more like them and it can damage her health..if i was u i would tell her no because she is not old enough to understand. teach ur daughter to love herself and her body ... she doesnt need to find out what the so called "perfect womans" body looks like because we all know that the average woman does not look like that...i hope this helped...take care!

Well coming from a girl who had her first g/g experience at 12. I think yes. I am a married woman now. But, I think you should let her see it.

DO you think she will be able to understand. By age 14 porn was something we knew about. But every one develops and matures at a different age. Talk to her before you show it to her

if you think she's old enough to handle it then yes. You should look at it with her though especially to answer any questions she has. This way she won't be running off to the porn shop to try and sneak peaks in hiding.

No, at 14 years old, her thoughts wonder off into different directions. Don't do this to her. Protect her and don't show her.
Playboy magazine...for ur boyfriend...ok....but don't give it to ur daughter, she can become sexual active after seeing that stuff, she came look up more stuff like that etc.

i'm not sure i think its a little young. i like reading the articles i know a lot of people say that and just look at the pics but i'm a girl and i don't really care to see the pics, plus the article are really interesting sometimes so its up to you
