It means you are pregnant. Often times the second line will be very faint if the pregnancy is new. It's time to call the OB.
Congratulations

1st response has been said to be one of the best & one of the more sensitive tests out there. Thats what I used when I found out I was pregnant. The darker line is the control line, that lets you know you did the test correct. The other line, no matter how faint, means you're pregnant. Mine was very faint the first day, so I took another one the next morning, and it was a little darker. Your HCG levels double each day so thats what controls how faint/dark the other line is. I took another one just to be sure 2 days later & it was a lot darker than the control line. Mine showed positive 10 days after conception so it might not to be too early to tell.

It could just mean that your hormones are not high enough right now to pick up try again in two weeks. If you still feel prego and the test says negative go see a doctor for a blood test. And one good thing a doctor told me once about at home pregnancy tests is that there can always be a false negative but never a false positive.

Even if it is a faint line..... that is more than enough. She is pregnant. If in doubt just go for a second test. But the blood test (Beta Hcg) will show the exact development. Ask her to do it consulting a doctor.
Good luck and happiness always. :-)

When I took my test the 2nd line was very light. She should try again in a few days because there are also things that can effect a test.

Wait to see if your periods comes and if it dose not then take another test and by then if the lines show up again that means you are pregnant, girl. Even though the second line showed up light it still means that you are.

Means her hcg levels are low still but still enough to detect the pregnancy hormone. She is most likely pregnant.... if she's unsure take another test in a week first thing in the morning.

Two lines, no matter how faint one may be, is a positive result (as long as it is colored...a white or gray line may be an evaporation line). Try taking a digital test if she needs more reassurance...clearblue digital is as sensitive (25mlu/ml hcg) as first reposnse and A LOT easier to read.

It means she is pregnant!
It is positive if the two lines are bright red, or if one is bright and the other is light. (The box were it came, should say that).
But if she wants to be more sure, tell her to have another test.

That you are pregnant. I took the same test and got the same results when I was only a little bit pregnant. Like a week or 2.
So shes def. pregnant.
