Well they aren't kitties (2 1/2) but I call them that. Ok I am 4 months pregnant, and I have heard stories about cats and babies. Watching a baby story or bringing home baby on TLC you see cats in the background and no problems, but yet that is TV!! I heard that you have to watch your cats closely someone told me that they like the smell of food that will prob. be on your baby's mouth and the cat will lay on the baby, which could sufficate him/her. So now I know i'm going to have to keep the room shut when the baby is sleeping. Also how do you keep the cats from laying in all the baby's stuff. I have one short hair and one long hair, so I know i'll be vacuuming all the time. Probably even having to step up my cat grooming skills. What about jelousy? One of the cats is calm and laid back, the other is hyper and can get jelous if she doesn't have all the attention. She's also the one that doesn't always play with her claws in. I don't like the idea of declawing, but for my baby I would.

On the average, how long was your baby in size three and size four diapers. I am trying to stock up and I don't want to overdo it. And yes, I am saving all the receipts in case I do need to return something. I just want some idea so I can figure out how much to buy. Thanks!

A day after my period ended I took my pill around 11pm (I usually take it at 6 or 7pm). That night I had sex without a condom with my boyfriend and now I'm scared I could be pregnant. What are the chances? I think I'm convincing myself that I have symptoms (mostly just feeling sick, but that could be from worry too!). It's only been a week, so it's too early to take a pregnancy test. Has anything like this happened to anybody?

My auntys little four year old son has a thing about waking up two -three times a night and wanting to sleep with her, but when she takes him back to bed he starts wanting drinks and needing to go to the toilet. I suggested its attention seeking, but i dont have kids so dont really have a clue :-( Does anyone know why he keeps doing this everynight? Its been a nightly routine for the last four months. My aunt is getting really fed up of it now

Hey guys I think i might be pregnant, but i am on the pill. Last month my period was normal came on time, and bleeding heavy like always. I do have unprotected sex with my husband all the time. My period (well i think it was) were a little late, i only got pinkish blood when i wipe for the whole day not even getting on my underwear, Next morning i got little brownish blood enough to use i tampon, then it stopped for a couple of hours, then it turned again into pinkish spotting , will only see it when i wipe. I had slight cramping and had a huge headache that i though my brain is going to explode in my skull, it hurt so much that i started to cry. I never experience a headache like this before or even before a period i never get headaches . Anyways took a test and it was negative. i still have brownish pinkish blood but this is so not like my normal period its so light. Is is possible that i might be pregnant and i am testing to early, Should i wait and how long?

I just read a question and some answers regarding children born out of wedlock. I myself was raised by a single mom and I loved it then, and i love it now. In hindsight I can look back and say, it couldn't have been any better for me, my brother agrees. Yet some people are saying that all kids raised by single parents are going to hate the parent in the end for not giving them a father. I personally had a father, and chose not to see him, still choose not to see him. The other question then would be, why do all these people assume that kids are being raised by their mothers, their are single fathers out there as well. As one person said, "if the woman would not spread her legs for just anyone there wouldn;t be all these kids out of wedlock." Does the same apply for those that are being raised by single dads, as in if Dad had just kept it in his pants. Or is just another one of those lovely double standards?

I am 7 wks pregnant and experienced a slight cramp last night accompanied by brown discharge. I have a healthy , soon to be 4 year old, and NEVER had ANY bloody dicharge throughout the entire pregnancy? This is strange, also this morning there were a few tiny drops again w/ NO cramps? One person tells me It sounds like I'm having a miscarriage and others say it's completely normal.. In my "what to expect when expecting book" , there is absolutely NOTHING normal about brown discharge???
I called the Dr today as my first appt is not until Thursday and she said that if it persists then I need to come in Monday for a sonogram. My breasts are NOT sore like they were yesterday and my stomach doesn't feel as hard as it did yesterday? Is this now all in my head? Help!

Okay I just found out that I am pregnant! I dont know what sex the baby is, but I was just pondering baby names. I already have a boys name picked out (Pedro Nieves). I am having a hard time with a girls name though...I have gone on many websites looking up girl names.. but I just can't seem to find one I like. My baby is just over 6 weeks old and is very alert for his age. He has a bottle then can be awake for up to 3 hrs sometimes whereas my first son fed every 3 hrs and was out like a light each time. I know i probably shouldn't complain but it can be very tiring. The only plus side as such is that he can sleep from 11pm through to 6.30am. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi. I am a pregnant mother of two wonderful boys and am currently pregnant with my 3rd child. This was unplanned and I almost had an abortion but could not bring myself to do so. I fell into a horrible depression, and now with 6 weeks to go, I am considering placing this child for adoption. I am scared that a third child will seriously slow down my whole family, It will be a huge financial burden, and I dont think we will be able to maintain the lifestyle that we have now. Also, we are currently going through a bit of financial trouble, we may have to move to a smaller house...things just aren't were they should be. I am scared of the repercussions on myself and my two other kids. Any one who can offer some advice???

my last period was on 3rd december and i am 70 days into my cycle and counting. there are no signs of me having a period anytime soon as no symptoms yet! this seems to be the norm for me, very long cycles. anyone out there the same and does anyone have any advice to give me please

I'm 3cm and 90% effaced. Since yesterday I have had an increase in vaginal discharge accompinied by lower abdominal pains similar to menstraul cramping. The discharge has no fowl odor and the color is a dark off white almost a light beige/yellow. I spoke with my midwife and she said it sounds normal as long as itching or discomfort of the vagina doesn't develop. Midwives and doctors aren't always correct. I have been told things in the past to be normal and than had to experience treatments later. ie, I developed a yeast infection and it was written off as normal discharge until I was swabbed and checked at my appoitment three days after the phone call to report it was made. This doen't seem to be the case, but I am always open minded and sceptical. Anyone experience this change in discharge around the same point in your pregnancy, if so, what happened?

I had unprotected sex about 7 weeks ago with my (former) boyfriend. Now, he did pull out (sorry for the details, what other "proper" way could I put that?)

I haven't had any signs to tell me that I'm pregnant like nausea My period did come week before last on time but it was light and it ended much shorter then usual. A week ago my breast started itching but now they're tender. But I started bleeding again last night and it's also light. Today I've noticed lower abdominal pressure. I know NOTHING about pregnancy signs, symptoms, being pregnant, etc. Pregnancy is probably not even in the realm of things, that's why I haven't taken a pregnancy test. What else could it be? My periods are usually irregular but I guess I'm just nervous!

Ok I am a little over 5 weeks pregnant. I found out and immediately called my health insurance since it wasnt great coverage and found out what they cover for maturnity. Well lets just say geisinger induvidual plans suck for maturnity. So I dropped that and am now covered on my hubbys Blue Cross Blue Sheild Plan and they cover 100%. I have been covered since Feb 1st. Now my hubby was just offered a wonderful job makin 75,000 plus a year! Just wondering what happens with the whole health ins stuff. Will I be covered if he takes this new job?The new company is very well know corp. all over the USA and it is Blue Cross ins also since one of our good freinds offered him the position he told us this. But how does the whole switching insurances go?Just concerned since i have all of these dr appts coming up and wondering will they be covered if he takes this job in the next month or so?

I have been on birth conrtol for about two years and my period has been very predictable. I sometimes forget pills and make up for them by taking two the next day, when i do this i get spotting anywhere from a little on one day to a lot everyday until my real period. I forgot two pills in the third week of my birth control and had some breakthrough bleeding for about two days afterwards, but didnt have sex until the next week- (the week of inactive pills). We had sex once and he pulled out, like always. I have no other strange symptoms. It is now the last day of the inactive week and i have still had no period or any bleeding whatsoever since the breakthrough bleeding a day or so before the inactive week. I have been under some significant stress but stress has never affected me before. Should I be worried about pregnancy?

My daughter is just barely 17 & 5 months pregnant. She does not want to live me. She & the father of the baby have the option of staying with my ex-husbands niece. She currently recieves Medi-Cal ( state funded free health care) which will cover herself and the baby-if she lives with me. She can qualify on her own if she moves out. My question is who is responsible for her medical bills then as she will no longer be included in my household? I have recieved confusing answers from the "state"--one says that I will be billed for any assistance that she recieves. If I am financially responsible then why aren't the baby daddy parents, and her own father responsible as well? I will have private insurance in March but I suspect that I cannot include her if she does not live with me. I can't lie about it because auntie lives in another County.Seeing a doctor in that county will send up red flags. There are of course other issues, but I need to know about the legal implications.~Thank you.
