All babies are not born with blue eyes but many are. Eye color can but will not always change after birth. Eye color is determined mostly by the amount of melanin in the iris.

My mom told me that I was born with dark brown eyes! So, apparently every baby is not born with blue eyes! My little brother was born with dark blue eyes when he was born, though, but they turned dark brown about a week later! I don't know some babies are born with blue eyes and then they change, though!

Are you sure your not mistaking baby's for kittens. Most kittens are born with blue eyes whereas baby's can be born with any colour and shade . My daughter was born with blue eyes and still does have baby blue eyes . However my nephew was born with brown eyes and still has brown eyes.

So they say but I know a few who don't follow the rule. My daughters eyes were so dark they were black when born and now they're green and my friends daughters eyes were bright green at birth and are now blue!

I'm not really sure. I think people with darker complexions, like african-americans, and hispanics they are not always blue. I think it just takes awhile for the pigment to settle. My son's eyes were grey at birth. Then changed to green, hazel, brown, sometimes all three. I thought he would have hazel eyes then at a year they went and stayed brown.

i have three children 2 girls 1 boy and they all had dark brown eyes when they were born

My first ones eyes were gray and second one's were dark brown when they were born. I wish their colours were blue!!

My daughters eyes didn't seem to have a colour at all. they were just dark for the first weeks. then went to brown.

i think that is a myth, my eldest boy woz born with brown eyes
