I have been icnoring it and not making a fus about it, but today i felt very angre because i had just ask him. Do i just take him to the tolet with out asking him dose he need to go or just keep icnoring the accidents. Iam going back to work in two weeks when my maternity leave is over and we have spoken about it in front of him. Apart from this he is always very good and i have asked him about the accidents but he does not say anything. Can someone help with any advice ?

My eight-year old daughter, "Marti", took a test to be accepted into her school's gifted program. However, a few minutes ago, I received a phone call informing me she had not passed the test. This didn't really make me upset or anything, as I expected it to be an extremely difficult test, so I didn't get my hopes up. However, I do expect Marti to be very disappointed. My little girl wanted this very much, and was hoping to do well. I love her very much, and do not wish for her to be hurt. I was told I can sign her up for the test again, if a teacher of hers recommends it, and I would LOVE her to give it another shot, but I don't know if she will be afraid of rejection. However, there is something inside of me that says she can do it. I know Marti, and she will do WHATEVER it takes to get something she wants, so I'm at least HOPING with is the same way. Is there anyone who could give me some advice on how to not only deal with the situation but tell my daughter this?

It said that shared custody simply makes the parents feel better but the kids feel terrible because there is mom's home and there is dad's home but no kids' home.

I am in a "community group" at my church, which is basically a Bible study held in different members' homes every week. Two of our members have 3 year olds who run amok everytime they enter someone else's household. It's not my place to say what the children are allowed to do at their own home, but other members agree with me that it's totally ridiculous that these kids are allowed to do anything they want as a guest in someone's home. I know they're young, but they seem to have no boundaries. Ex: jumping on couches, throwing things on the floor to make loud noises, running around yelling, and spilling food/drink on the floor! Is there an easy, polite way to let these people know their kids are being very rude (and in turn, so are they?!)

My three year old daughter is very mouthy. She gets an attitude and tells me and her father she hates us and she throws things. She also constantly pushes down her sisters (1 and 2). What are some ways of getting her under control or what could be causing her to be so mean?

Her mom gave up her rights and is 1000's of miles away. My husband works 3rds and before we were married I worked full time and he would wake and take care of her when she got home from school. Well I quit my job to go back to school for dental assisting and now my husband wakes up at about 6:00 eats dinner and goes back to bed until he has to leave for work. I bring his daughter to sports practices and events while he sleeps. I have also had a few job offers that he wouldnt let me take because he wants me to be a "housewife" right now. He pays for everything for me but I also have an income from an insurance policy that my parents left me. I put the downpayment on our house that we just purchased but he pays the payment. My question is I want a child of my own but he wants to wait. I feel that if I can care for his child then I should have my own. I love my stepdaughter like my own but I want a baby of my own is this selfish. I have also quit taking my bc without his knowledge.

My fellow accountant came in and said that she was sorry for being so hard to work with last week but it was the first week that her daughter stayed with her ex all week. She has a half half sharing arrangement. Her daugher is three. I see this as typical in white divorces, that the fathers fight the wives for custody of the kids. Don't you think that small children need their mothers more and seeing them part of every weekend and maybe early dinner once a week would be good? I am not trying to be racist here, just curious. Also, I am middle class so it is not class we are talking about. Thanks for the discussion.
