He is a dads boy and my girl follows both of them every where. I dont no what to do to help him stop. I have cut down his drinks and i ask him all the time if he need to go when we are out, he always tell me yes or no. But today when i asked him he sead no and about 5 min later he wet him self. I have been icnoring it and not making a fus about it, but today i felt very angre because i had just ask him. Do i just take him to the tolet with out asking him dose he need to go or just keep icnoring the accidents. Iam going back to work in two weeks when my maternity leave is over and we have spoken about it in front of him. Apart from this he is always very good and i have asked him about the accidents but he does not say anything. Can someone help with any advice ?

I think it's normal for children to "revert" when there is a new baby in the house. It might be an attention thing. I don't have any children, but I think that you will find this to be a common thing. I guess the key is praise him when uses the potty. Make sure you spend some "mommy and me" time alone with him and be consistant with the potty training. Sorry that I can't help you any further. Good luck!

Show him lots of love. Do not put him under pressure by gettting angry and asking him questions about it. That will only make it worse. Stop making an issue out of his wetting. There are products available for toddlers who still wet. Put him in these for a while.
Children will wet when they get nervous. There must be some underlying cause. Like you going back to work. Mabe he has a problem with that. He is too young to figure out why he is wetting. Ease off a little and in time he'll settle.

there is always a reason for everything ,you just haven't discovered what it is .

if you let him walk around wet will that not teach him not to want that
could it be a physical reason
or maybe psychological
you should discuss this with a professional person and give ALL the facts ,however irrelevant it may seem to you.

Take him to the docor, make sure he does not have a urinary tract infection. My daughter is 6 and gets these alot. The first sign is she starts to have accidents.

I disagree with those who answered that "there's always a reason". He's just going through a phase. Now, there may be a simple reason (e.g. maybe he's jealous) but I wouldn't sweat this one. It will pass.

There is always a reason. Medical, or stress, or jealousy.
