First of all, you should absolutely disclose to any prospective employer that you are pregnant. I'm not too sure of the legal implications if you don't, but I wonder if they couldn't fire you for witholding that information (maybe they can't -- I don't know, but I wouldn't want to find out in that way, that's for sure!). Besides, even if they can't let you go once they find out, they can be pissed off about it, and that could make working there very awkward, turning a dream job into a nightmare.

I think you should apply. The worst they can say is no, but if they decide not to take you on because they would train you for a short while and then lose you, they probably won't tell you that's why you didn't get hired. Just don't be surprised if they decide to go with someone else.

I just recently found out I am pregnant with our second baby, and I'm still on mat leave from my first! I had to go back to my employer, and ask if I could come back early and get enough hours in to go BACK on mat leave late this summer. I was so embarrassed. "Hey, I know I'm going to be leaving again for another year right away, but I want you to give me my job back, okay?" Luckily, I have a fantastic boss who was thrilled to have me back, and excited about my pregnancy.

Anyway, if it's a great opportunity, go for it. You're unhappy, and that's terrible, especially when you're pregnant. I recommend being upfront, and if they think you're still an ideal fit for their company, they should hire you on.

Best of luck! and congratulations. :)

I would say go for it!!! It sounds like a great opportunity. I know the situation you're in. But I'm 24 weeks pregnant and cannot visibly hide it...you are still early enough that you can hide it! Employers can't legally discrimminate against you and not hire you because you're pregnant...however, it is VERY EASY for them to say that you're not qualified or there is someone better for the position. Employers can be very sneaky when it comes to pregnant women. I feel that I have been discrimminated against myself. Since you are very early in your pregnacy I would not disclose the fact. However, if you start your new job you will have been there for less than 1 year and you will not be covered by FMLA (which gives you 12 weeks of UNPAID job protected leave)....when interviewing check on benefits...how much sick/vacation can you accrue? What health insurance company is it? Make sure to ask the insruance company BEFORE you accept the job to see if your pregnancy is covered (it very, very likely will be).

Don't feel bad being sneaky by hiding that you're pregnant...employers are just as ruthless when it comes to hiring pregnant people! If you're right for the job, then you're right for the job...the fact that you will give birth a couple months later shouldn't affect the decision!

Good luck!

Try http://www.treasuretrooper.com/195006... , and here is a great site to help you make lots of money in a short time.
How it Works
Ok, So here is a run down of how Treasure Trooper Works.

As we all know Telemarketers by law are not allowed to contact us anymore. Now they have developed sites that you sign up for and you simple just take surveys and complete offers in order to get paid for your time.

Here is an example of what an offer looks like.

Lexus RX (New!) Take the survey. $1.00

You just simple do what it says. You take the survey and then click "Done". After that the offer will go into your pending funds. When the company verifies that you have completed the offer it will then go into your approved funds and you receive the money.

Mabutu's Hut
Now for the fun part. This is what makes Treasure Trooper stand out from the rest.

You can actually play a side game with the site.

When you complete an offer and click "Done" you will automatically be given a gold cluster. Then after that you can play the side game. The side game will display 3 clams. You simple just click on one and hope that you find the pearl.

After you start your collection of gold clusters and pearls you can go into Mabutu's Hut and trade them in for Prizes.

Prizes for Gold Clusters

The Ruby
Treasure map pieces (4 pieces)
Trooper's Journal (6 pieces)
Mabutu's Secret
Treasure Hunt Tickets
Treasure Trooper Journal
Free mousepad
Free Bumper Sticker

The map pieces, journal, and hunt ticket will help you in the future when the site holds contest.

Prizes for Pearls

Pearl Bracelet

The pearl bracelet is the only prize you can get with these but its also the best prize the site gives away.
With referrals members can earn 20% of what 1st level referrals make and 10% of what 2nd level referrals make. This adds up quick. So far this month I have made about $40.00 from what my referrals have done with the site. If you find yourself having trouble getting referrals then just purchase the pearl bracelet. This item will give you 2 referrals. So when someone signs up but didnt register under another member they automatically become yours and you start earning money off of what they do with the site.

I think you should apply. Honestly at 9 weeks they probably wont be able to tell at all..and you wont have to tell them until you are around 12 weeks (when most women start to show a lil). But then you can always say you didnt know...cuz once you have the job they cant take it away because you are pregnant. Good Luck I hope you get the job!!

I think you should tell them you're pregnant about 3/4 of the way through the interview. Only after you have tried as hard as possible to convince them they should hire you. If they really like you then you have a chance. Or they might just tell you to come back after you have the baby. I say go, because you know, what do you have to lose by going, a little self esteem? Who cares, you're about to be a mommy! You're not going to want to focus on your career right after that anyway. lol. Go for it, and if it doesn't work out, just wait until afterwards.

They CANNOT discriminate because you are pregntant BUT if they hire you and then you have to take leave to take care of your baby... they might not be requiered to hold your position while you are out! Some companies and states have different regulations on maternity leave (research online). Back to the issue, If they really think you will be an asset to their organization they will hire you even if you are pregnant. I suggest you are honest and during the interview process let them know.

Good luck and congrats on the baby!

You do not have to tell them you are pregnant. In fact, you should not tell them you are pregnant. If they do hire you, you need to disclose the pregnancy soon thereafter and they cannot fire you for being pregnant, you are protected under federal law.

If you do get the job, be prepared to not take your full pregnancy leave, as you'll need to prove that you are ready and willing to make the committment to this position.

You can take apply... it never hurts to try. However I took a job while pregnant and I started getting really dizzy and exhausted and weak and I ended up off of work... they basically trained me and I was off... But if you feel you can do it.. then go for it, I got hired and told them I was pregnant before my interview

They can not by law discriminate against you because you are pregnant. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen because it does a lot. At nine weeks I am sure no one could tell you are pregnant so I would go to the interview. You do not have to tell them you are pregnant, thats private.

Don't worry about not getting the job because you're pregnant. They have no business asking this. It's concidered a form of discrimination, just as much as asking your marital status, sexual orientation and religious beliefs.
