Define a good example...
I would define it as being true to self ie used to be a metaller with tattoos and long hair or hippy... Saty that way...
Plus those groups treat others well, look after others and dont bully.
Stand up for yourself and others and dont be into pathetic supperficial nonsense like suits.
Likewise dont follow anything blindly teaching the kid not to support religion or blind following of anything so not so conned etc
To be publically affectionate and lay into anyone who stops you.
Equally young mothers to breast feed and have a go at those to stop you feeding your baby.
etc

I'd like to think so! She's nearly 16 now & is bordering on being a perfect child or as close as you can get so I'd like to think our influence has had something to do with that. We don't get into any trouble-never been in trouble with the police,we'r polite, well mannered, look after the old people in our lives, respect our parents.Run a nice home. And teach her to respect all human beings regardless of their race, religion or sexuality.

I do my best to be a good example to my children, teach them to be good to others, do the right thing, enjoy life, laugh and have fun.

I try to be. Lost my temper with the computer today though. And the F-word came out. And she repeated me. Gave her a tellin off and told her the only F-word to pass her lips until the age of 18 will be flippin'. She don't get it yet. But she will one day ...

I hope so. I either study or go to work, to show them that u have to work hard for what you want. Being a single mum i think it's even more important to show them the acceptable ways to live in society, coz if i dont, then no-one else will.

I try to but I know I get it wrong sometimes. Especially when affected by PMT ;-) I always apologise though if I've been a bad mummy and try to explain why I did it (shout, snapped etc) and why I shouldn't have, to my 5 year old boy.

I try to be. I always treat them with respect - not dismiss their opinions just because they are children. I also try to always treat themn as I would wish to be treated myself. Hopefully they will grow up treating others in the same way.
