Not everyone feels like crap. I would never have known except that I had a positive test. Then gradually I started to feel more tired and went to bed at about 9:00pm. Other than that I felt great and did the whole way through. You are in the lucky minority, be thankful!! Good luck and congratulations.

At 5 weeks, it's a little to early to show any "typical" symptomes.
Some women do experience pregnancy symptomes from the begenning, for some it takes a little longer and only few women will go though their entire pregnancy without ever "feeling" pregnant (Aside from the belly).
I am at 16 weeks now and my symptoms started appearing around 5 weeks.... First, I was more tired then usual, then at around the end of the 6th week I started gettign nausea.
Some women will throw-up, others wont. In my case, the nausea was so severe that I barely functioned. But not to worry, in most cases this passes and by the time week 12 to 14, you start to feel like your self again.
If you are one of the lucky women who will not experience any symptoms, be happy.
It all depends how your body reacts to the changes that it is going through , hormones, the fact that you have another human growing inside of you and the fact that your blood volume increases. There are many other changes happening in yoru body.
Congratulations!

I also am about 5 weeks pregnant. I took two home pregnancy tests, a few days apart, and both were positive. From my understanding, false positive pregnancy tests are very rare. Also, home pregnancy tests performed correctly can be almost as accurate as urine pregnancy tests performed in a doctor's office. I, too, am having very few symptoms. I had some strange cramps for about 6 days, but those have stopped now, and I really only feel tired. I think it's just nerve racking to have to wait to have the pregnancy confirmed by a physician. If you are worried, you should ask if you can see your doctor sooner. Good luck!!
(By the way, from everything I've read cramps around the time you would have missed your period are completely normal and are due to implantation/increased vascularization of the uterus. As long as there is no bleeding, this is normal.)

Well what kind of symptoms were you expecting? The only symptoms that I ever had when I was pregnant were my breast getting larger and more sensitive and I couldn't fit my clothes. I never got nauseous or anything, the only thing that used to make me throw up were my prenatal vitamins but my doctor changed my prescription and I never threw up again, that was with my son who's 5 years old now. For this pregnancy I just felt really tired all the time, but not anymore now that I'm 17 weeks and I was glad because I already knew which prenatal did agree with me and what didn't so there was no throwing up or nausea this time around. You should be very thankful I've seen what friends of mine have went through and I couldn't imagine running to the toilet having to throw up because I smelled something bad or just felt sick for no reason 24/7 and congratulations on the little one.
I always find this website very helpful in letting me know what's going on with my pregnant body and the baby.

You could be one of the few lucky ones who does not get symptoms. I assume you mean nausea. I didn't get nauseous with my first, the second pregnancy I was a little nauseous, the third one I couldn't eat for two months and I lost 25 pounds. Every woman is different. If you had cramping that would have been a symptom of a miscarriage. since you have not had cramping or bleeding do not worry. Go see you Dr. or take another test if it will make you feel better. 5 weeks is not that far along, you have about 32 more to go!

With my first two pregnancies I had many symptoms, including sore breasts and implantation bleeding. With this pregnancy I have only had slight nausea. I didn't start getting really tired until this week and I'm already 8 weeks. Don't worry about it. If you're uneasy about the pregnancy, you can ask your doctor to do an ultrasound. By 7 weeks they can see the heartbeat on the screen. Your doctor can also have you take blood tests to make sure your hcg levels are rising properly. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby!!

Those are positive pregnancy tests. The tender breasts, and fatigue are classic preggo symptoms, and also the stomach pains (which should feel like slight tugging or cramping). You are pregnant. Congratulations Momma! Make a Doctor's appt. soon, and start taking prenatal vitamins. You can find the vitamins for a better price at Target or Walmart. Good Luck.

All four times I was pregnant (two miscarriages and two births) I did not have any symptoms at all! It was wonderful. If I had not had a pregnancy test I would not have known I was pregnant at all because I didn't feel any different. No symptoms does not mean you miscarried. If you did miscarry--believe me--you would notice that!

It is not uncommon to not have any signs that you are pregnant. Everyone is different and so some people won't feel it and some do. If you haven't had any bleeding and your test came out positive then you are pregnant. The best thing to do is get into your doctor as soon as possible. He can do the exam and let you know for sure. Congrat's on the baby.

lucky you, the longer you can be symptom free the more comfortable you will be, i was lucky enough to stay symptom free for about 2 minutes, i get to feel every minute of my pregnancies. remember, some people dont even know they are pregnant until they are 3 months along. you would know if you had a miscarriage, keep up with your prenatal visits and once you are past 10 weeks if you are still concerned you can rent a doppler (fetal heart monitor) to reassure you whenever you need it. Soon there will be no denying that your baby is alive and kicking so to speak.
congratulations
